- This week on Weekend Adventure Rides I get rid of the stock headlight mount and fabricate a bottom mount to bring back the classic Harley look.

Hello from California! Thank you for posting this fab project, really motivating for me to do the same thing!
Thanks for sharing!
Hello from germany 🙂
Great work! I saw this and built the same thing yesterday.
Therefore I found a 1" stainless steel sheet but my headlight is kinda shaking when the Sportster is running at low rpm.
Did you have the same problem?
Yes, that's going to be an issue with the minimal support. May improve with some gusseting on the back of the mount.
How much would you charge for this ? lol I spent all day looking for things to use and I just don’t have the tools.
I just wouldn’t need the hole for the wires and I don’t have risers. I plan on using the holes form the brow it came with. If you would be willing work it out with me lmk
Send me an email with some pictures of the front end and I'll see what I can come up with.

Awesome dude!! I’ll be sending them tomorrow for sure
Sent the email with some measurements and details dude!
Yeah I was just looking at some measurements. I think I can do it pretty easy
I have to disagree, it’s not a “modern” look. The sporty brow has been around for 40 years. It looks badass on an extended 35mm narrow glide front end on a shovel or a sportster.
Agree to disagree.
@@WeekendAdventureRides I mean there’s no wright or wrong answer lol, I wasn’t trying to come off like db, I just happen to be a fan of the stock xl visor is all. I love the AMF years, ugly mag wheels, crazy frank fenders, unsightly disc brakes ect. I can appreciate what you do as I’ve been fabricating for a living for the last 25 yrs and riding bikes for even longer. Knocked out a few custom headlight mounts in the past myself. My next build I was actually thinking of fabbing my own xl visor from scratch with some dimpled holes on each purchase area. Anyways, now I’m rambling on. 🤙
