No, not dramatically. I have two Moves and one Move 2. Advantage is the battery life if needed and the replacement battery capability. They are good speakers.
good sound and terrible control and even worse support. constant tambourine dances to make it work. one speaker flies off or the other. the support is not the smartest guys... or rather they just don't care.
what would you recommend I have a move 1 and it would be nice to sell my move 1 and go for move 2... no reason to keep 1 since it won't even communicate with move 2... it's in pristine condition, it was on my book shelf and used it it a solid 8 times at low volumes.. have it's box and manuals charger still zip tied too... I tend to avoid public meet up path's but open to any idea. thanks!!!
One of my favorite restaurants has the Sonos Move hanging high up in the open patio and it sounds so great. Thats where I was first introduced to these speakers actually. I do believe this speaker is meant to withstand mild rainfall/splashes and drizzle for a short period of time but with this price point I'd be a bit more careful.
Don't ever recommend Sonos to friends and family. You'd set it up for them, and everything would work until the next updates You'll become their personal tech support for as long as they own the product. Never again.
The app doesn't allow you to do anything because it doesn't work. Stay away from Sonos speakers if you don't want to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars and waste hours trying to get them to work.
I have Move 1 and i hate that it has this isolated policy. I only use it by my bed to listen to something to sleep with and other playlists. The wifi on it has never been good, lags so i just use it over Bluetooth, i am a android user. And now you tell me that i can not use it with another Move gen 2. It's just a shitty company, sorry about being negative.
i have 2 roams and 2 Move2's. I love all of them but the Move2's sound exceptional. Great battery life, outstanding sound with deep bass. love them
Using this for outside. Debating between the two. Is the move 2 dramatically better in sound quality for $100 more?

"Sereo Stound" =) 02:58
In the video at about 5:44, what device are you using the Sonos app on? Also, thanks for this review!
Might be the Google Pixel Tablet.

Double check, I think it will stereo pair with the Move any generation. I have both.
Is it something that can be left outside mounted on a wall with the Sonos mount?
In terms of weather resistance ie dealing with the rain and elements, I’m not concerned with battery life

8:49 "For $149 US dollars..." I wish.
he says "$449" but does sound like "a-hundred" :)

I have had sonos speakers for years. They always work. No issues
🎉

Mine work perfectly all the time. Not sure what’s wrong with yours lol
All my Sonos work perfectly as well. Never a problem and they sound phenomenal!
Never a problem with any of mine. We have 4 play1 1 play3 and a sound bar. We use 2 play1s and the soundboard for 5.1 surround sound.
I’ve been using Sonos for years, no issues here even though new app was a surprise, quality still holds true
Only the first thing you said is true. Sonos speakers work good and sound amazing
