First stop on my solo journey outside London - Cambridge! This peaceful university town was a serene escape. I learned that if you know a student here, you can really make the most of your visit and even save some money with a guest pass 🫢
The bus ride from the station is the same time as walking or faster.. So if you have the energy you can save yourself that cost. And if you have a map you can wander a bit and see things on the way.
@@MisusYaya you don't need to know someone who lives here. I think it's just being able to spend a little more time and have a good poke about at your own speed. And try and time a visit when there is an event on that interests you as well. There are so many lovely things just outside the city too. I hope you can come back one day. Glad you enjoyed the short visit you had.
Cambridge is where (supposedly) the government recruits spies, and your thumbnail looks like a spy movie haha! ❤ Have you heard about the vegan tour created in s Korea and the adoption of more plant based foods there? I have always wanted to visit but the lack of food options has put me off, but now it's on my bucket list!
Oh that's interesting haha. Yeah I heard about the tour. I've been to Korea twice in 2017 and 2019, and I had no problem finding vegan food. They have some of the best vegan bakeries~ My vegan friends went there last year and they enjoyed eating out at aesthetic restaurants! I guess new vegan spots just keep popping out~

I wish you could have seen more, I feel like you barely scratched the surface. There’s so much to do here.
Yeah it was a short day trip 🥲 I heard it's best if I know someone who goes to school there, then I could get more access to the fun stuff

Used to be 50p when we went up St Marys in the 80's
Thank you for this well organised vlog. Very helpful
Thank you! Glad you find it helpful 💕
Cambridge looks completely the opposite from London! Love it
Cambridge feels serene, with a strong sense of academia and old-money vibes!
lol what is punting…basically like a boat tour?
Yeah basically haha. I've never heard of "punting" before either, that's just how they call it 😁
punting is the way of moving the boat or punt (a flat bottomed boat) with a long pole used to reach the bottom of the river and push the boat along.
There must be other punting tours offer cheaper ticket for 1??
Yeah I'm pretty sure there is...I just went with whichever had the most 5-star reviews 😅

真羨慕那些能在劍橋上大學的人喔 🥺 好有氣質的地方
我也好羨慕~ 後悔當初大學不選在英國讀 😅
