I think 2 games that would be great for VR would be Road Rage and a Star Wars Speeder Bike race game. Imagine racing through a redwood forest on a Speeder Bike, it can have several different modes like a race through a set course, timed, head to head or against several other racers. You can have a battle mode where your objective is to get to some destination and you're up against stormtroopers or other players trying to stop you, in this mode you have weapons anything from light sabers, laser pistols to maybe tree branches you snag along the way. Lastly a free style mode where you just enjoy a cruise through a forest, canyon or city. Then there's Road Rage no explanation needed for this one, just flat out racing and beating the shit out of the guy next to your with chain or club while jamming to Soundgarden's Outshined!! Don't know if the PS VR or Xbox's Scorpio system will be able to do this now or down the road but having games like the Star Wars Speeder Bike or Road Rage with photo realistic backgrounds would be AWESOME and needs to be the next step in game play.

It's honestly astonishing, it makes you truly realize that the future is here now. It's very comfortable, the tracking is pretty spot on, and the graphics are great as well! Only cons I found with this set up is that there is so much cordage; it kind of makes my living room area look very messy if you don't have cord control; but it is definitely overlooked once you start playing!

For it to even remotely work your head movement would turn the head of the player, your aim control will have a new learning curve. I doubt people will care for it. So far everything other then Racing or flight sims are novelty games.

VR isnt gonna disappear anytime soon the PC VR scene is beginning to take off finally and Sony realized its the future of gaming and jumped on the bandwagon early enough that there gonna change the game with the PS VR.... now that VR is going to be available to the masses on console it will spread much faster then in the PC world of gaming which is still largely exclusive to hardcore video gamers, whereas consoles are much more user friendly for casual gamers and families etc. the only thing thats holding the PS VR back is its retail price tag but within a year or two i predict it will be vary popular and VR games will become a huge focus for PS

The main issue with VR is the fact that games need to run at 60fps (stably) otherwise the expereince will be horrible. It's a fact that open world games like GTA, etc cannot do 60fps on consoles as they are not powerful enough. I do kind of worry if we will see proper quality games being able to hit 60fps for this to work.

I love the idea! but I would get it if I can play games like dying light in VR, far Cry and all those first person view games! VR technology looks stunning tho!

Resident Evil in VR would be a MAD!
The main issue with VR is the fact that games need to run at 60fps (stably) otherwise the expereince will be horrible. It's a fact that open world games like GTA, etc cannot do 60fps on consoles as they are not powerful enough.
I do kind of worry if we will see proper quality games being able to hit 60fps for this to work.

I have been waiting to buy a VR machine, waiting for the kinks to be worked out. After watching this video, it seems the wait is over!!!
So mostly shallow VR demo games that will be lucky to hold gamers attention for more than a few hours, got it!
