    Bali is not overcrowded, it’s just that tourists flock to the 3-4 same spots. Just get a little away from the main streets of Ubud, Seminyak and especially Canggu and then you’ll have a 1000% better cultural experience without the crowds. As a whole, the Balinese are the friendliest, kindest, most welcoming people I have met anywhere.

      Your kidding right? Its super overcrowded, not from tourists either ive seen about 4 my whole time here the locals on scooters clog up the roads, nie impsossible to walk anywhere due to lack of sidewalks, people not respecting road crossings and people even driving on the sidewalks.

    I can understand why you choose Bali as it's such a popular destination especially for your parents and Ivana's siblings who are there for the first time. And yes, for them, it's sort of incomplete to go all the way to Indonesia without visiting Bali.

    • @JetLagWarriors
      @JetLagWarriors  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes! We still would say Bali is a MUST even if traffic is bad. You can’t Balinese culture anywhere else in the world, even in neighbouring Lombok.

    yeah, bali traffic is night mare. That is why we choose just to stay in one nice place rather than go around. But i heard that next year they are planning to build a MRT from Airport to Canggu. Hopefully they build more public transport in the future, finger cross

    I absolutely love Indonesia and have been there a few times. But Bali is probably the place that I like the least in Indonesia (Together with Batam Island). Lombok is way more chilled out and friendly, in my experience. I also really enjoyed cycling around the island of Sumbawa, where I hardly met anyone who was not Indonesian.

    “Drive Outside Of Rush Hour - Where possible, drive outside of rush hour. Rush hour in Bali had two phases, local rush hour traffic followed by tourist rush tour traffic. Local rush hour is really between 6-8am and then again around 5-7pm.
    For tourist traffic in popular resort areas, congestion builds up around 8-10am as everyone leaves for their day trips and builds up again around 4-7pm as visitors return and start to head out again for their evening activities. Evening rush hour is often worse than the morning.” Copy Paste from a review
