Put the bike straight before turning on ignition, it will show correct fuel level. When turning on with side stand, fuel will shift towards left side which will give wrong reading.
Thanks for your effort... Few points:- 1. Regarding mirrors, try aligning them horz with the narrow end pointing inwards.. that wud increase your field of view. 2. Bajaj had a very long experience with this model, right from the days of Kawasaki Eliminator (remember?).. But if still, they can't iron out issues with gear box, provide 6 gears, have reliable and confidence inspiring brakes, give optional dual discs, give a kick start, etc.. it's a shame. Another major negative i will hold against Bajaj for a bike like this, is the absence of factory fitted touring gear and accessories. Compare same about RE Himalayan!!! 3. While I wish Bajaj well, they should not take customers' goodwill for their company, esp atmanirbhar part, for granted. Thanks and ride safe

Bro how is 160 out of city ride ??? I am little confused between 220 cruise and 160 street i usually ride in city but i find sitting and handling position is better in 220 how about 160 street????
@@mayur5860 For out of city ride always prefer 220 not 160. I have 180 BS4 and we can't go more than 80 kmph comfortably, the maximum cruising speed for both 180 and 160 is 80 kmph beyond that the bike is not steady we feel vibrations and the ride is never comfortable. Its my personal experience. I rode my Avenger 180 at 90 kmph for 1 min continuously and the vibrations are so intense that I slowed down automatically.
Solution for some negatives (I own one @13k kms): 1. Tilt the mirrors to horizontal, field of view will become better than any available bike in this segment. 2. 4-5 gear has an RPM inconsistency, leave the throttle before changing it, it will be butter smooth. 3. Suspensions are soft, so slow down at speed breakers. 4. It has a 3-3.5L reserve tank, so it will blink at 5L (about to go to reserve). Fuel meter is accurate, it's just reserve isn't shown here. All digital fuel meters are less accurate than digital ones. 5. Switch to Motul 7100/5100 or Shell AX for smooth gear and less vibes.
Everything you have mentioned is fine.. But for point no.1 I have tried that as well but field of view is still not that good... Will try blind spot mirrors
I have avenger 180 bs4 ... ORVM mein dekhne ka problem thora kam hai ... Kyunki mirror ko humne soya huya posture mein rakh diya hai ... Aapka khara wala posture mein problem hota hai ... Curvature of the mirror wala baat aapne sahi bataya..
I used to own apache rtr 180 which had digital fuel meter. It also had same problem. Never showed true value.. i think all digital meters have the same problem

Have you ever faced any issues in avengers leg guards? This is split, not provides proper resistance on high impact . I faced it during a crash of my avenger, left side leg guard has been loosened from the clamps and upper clamps of left side has been slightly bended bcoz of wielding there detached from main chassis/ frame. I think this is a manufacturing defect. Dont you think so?? Have you faced it?
I would buy avenger again......for comfort of v compare power to weight ratio thn avenger is any time good option.....meteor is good but 350 cc and 20 hp...jus 1 hp more thn avenger and almost 70 thousand more thn Avenger......if above 2 lakh thn I would buy Dominar 400 cc with 40 hp..

This gentleman did almost accurate review. My husband bought two bike ...we found this issue. In accurate fuel gauge. Non adjustable mirror. Lower in height. Second gear not useful Too many bolt nut fitting / poor tightening. Too much heat from Engine. Too much hot silencer, my son got heat. Ultimately not good for city ride , only good for minimum long ride. Positive is.. comfortable seat for husband wife & one baby.
Sir aapke jo points hai kaafi had tak valid lage as a commuter / rider point of view. I think you should share these points to bajaj avenger to @Bajaj avenger/team might they look in to it in future that issue will solved and people get a changed in cruiser pretty machine. Not at all... It was there in non ABS variants.. But after ABS breaking is very good. I have faced an emergency breaking moment with my wife as pillion..nd it was very good

Yes ORM ...main blind spot...I agree...fuel gauge also..whenever u want to check ..just put ur bike straight...then it's will give correct reading..
