I want to change the density of straight bars, for example, having more on the left side than on the right side. How can I do that? im newbie help me plsss
@1:37 when you connect slider to construct domain the slider changes to domain end and in my case its still a slider and the even after connecting the curve it's moving
5:17 I followed exactly the same steps, i used the plugin called pufferfish as well but when i connect offset curve to offset surface gives me an error saying that "Data conversion failed from Curve to Brep". what could be the issue please help. I am certain that i used the right commands. thank you
Great Stuff! How would you do it if your baseline is a closed polyline? Or is it the best Way to make each side of the building on its own? I tried but i need the xyz coordinates have to be made for every side
okay extrude ur closed polyline in z direction>> deconstruct brep>>determine normal direction of each face >>then explode ur closed polyline >> divide curve >> move ur points in normal direction of face that u fined before (use multiplication the output from remap number and normal direction after that use addition with vector z direction )
Hey! I think you're talking about the part at 5:10. To do that without using any plugins, just use the native Grasshopper Offset Curve component. After that, merge the original and offset curves, and graft both merge inputs. Then, connect the result to the Loft component. If you only need the curves, just pass the loft result into a Curve container
Wow~ Math is Design!! Gooooood Job~~ ^^ I am inspired!! haha
Glad u like it
every time I came here I first clicked the like button ....
thanks so much , ur helping me a lot
great stuff man. Really appreciate it!!!!
thanks so much

use boundary surface node between them
Hi, it didnt work, de curved curves is not turning into surfaces. I used boundary, and still doesnt working

@@GustavoSoares-rh4pb Try using YZ plane component insted of XZ and connect it to Offset Curve.
@@mateuszbochynski9806 you the best
Just for understanding which are the major variables which can manipulate the whole facade.

@@3DBeast i wasnt able to make it the way you described it but i used perp frames instead and it works perfect!

Yes, it's been too long, i will try to make consistent.
thanks, you always support .
can you do a video of this but for a polysurface and all four sides of the building?
