Here's how you make the social experiment more interesting: Take random non english and non arabic speaking people on the street and have them listening to Quran recital and then Led Zeppelin Stairway to Heaven. Ask their opinion about each of the record, which one moves their hearts more.
love this experiment, but if i may suggest, could you do one with people guess what it is about? you could provide like 3 audio,just ask them to feel it with their heart and choose them, let them listen then they tell you what they feel the quran is saying, and then you tell them the translation.
just an idea though...

Im a born muslim, but I dont speak any arabic, and yes to me the recitation of Quran is beautiful. but Even us as non arab muslim sometimes dont really get what is it about when we only read it without knowing the meaning and that's why they gave us the translation, imagine ppl who dont even know anything about it at all, that's what I meant though :) I saw this one video with a non muslim teenage boy watching the quran recitation with translation, it really stunned him more than just listening to it

also they wouldnt know because they're not being told that it is from Quran, and while they read the translation they will know that Quran is a religion of peace and consist no such horrible things that the haters trying to portray and twist and cut here and there.
