Hi I’m going to this resort in 3 weeks with 3 toddlers. Is their anything you got a tip on & what we should expect whilst on the resort? Also I like to go out of resorts to see the real people of the countries. Would this be an issue do you think especially at night? Thanks
G Jolh00 I’m going there in June. It is an African country which outside of the resort you have to remember you’re somewhere which only knows of poverty it’s not built up enough yet for tourist trappings such as clubs, stores etc everything you need is in the resorts. So in short from my research it would be very foolish to explore outside at night and if you got into any trouble you can be assured there wouldn’t be any police around to assist you. Plus in this guys video he keeps letting you know there is NOTHING outside
G Jolh00 hi. I’ve been twice and Santa Maria is a cute village with bars and restaurants and a church and village square out and a pier. We found the island to be very safe to walk around. We walked from the hotel into town along the beach. Probably too far for little ones. You must visit the beaches near Hotel Rui. Where sands and waves. The kids pool and water park will keep you little 8nes more than busy but please know the Cape Verdians are lovely people. They are also protective of the tourists from the immigrant Somalians. Enjoy you holiday x
I had to lookup where Cape Verde was. I learned that it is a country in Africa. The resort looks nice. I don’t like the idea of a spa, since I am not fond of strangers touching me. The little lizards seem interesting so long as they don’t cause a nuisance. I used to have a pet chameleon when I was a child, it wasn’t free range though. You will be missed if you stop making videos, but you must do what is right for yourself and your family. I appreciate that.
They do sell crisps on the Boulevard and the reason there is ovens and no pots and pans is because some apartments are privately owned! Hate the swearing by the way not necessary an vulgar
Love this hotel. Yes food is hit and miss but a great place for a nice relaxing holiday, going back next year.
When I was going 3 years ago I watched this every day until I went
Im coming there Sunday!! Thank you for the video

It is very nice - very warm!
You talk too fast. Invest in a better mic.

The things you learn
Well I thought it was a great video- swearing included. You told us all we needed to know, we go there in November. Thanks a lot!
Ruined by the foul language.
Adding that little bit of extra spice
