Great to see this on youtube and good footage.. 2019 finisher here. I saw similar conditions, brutal but loved it, well done. Would of loved a medal but still have my shirt from it.
Now that looked like a quality race! It had a bit of everything. Certainly something that would be right up my street. Great to see the local community coming together for it too. Loads of support. Amazing running to Francois well done mate great stuff! 😎🤘🏻
Great video. I've run this race a few times since 1995 and this year was a classic. The mud and hills (including the extra climb) made it one to remember. Massive thanks to the organisers and marshals for being out there in appalling conditions
Loved the video. You really caught the atmosphere and the difficulty of the race. Super bit of filming, how you managed to smile all the way round ( and not go down) was amazing.
A mate has just suggested we do this... The first 5 seconds of the intro didn't fill me with motivation - but it does look fun, I have to say 😅 Type 2 fun in parts, maybe...😆
@CotswoldTrailRunner I'm definitely not!🤣 But I have a history of somehow managing to haphazardly hit a minimal level of readiness in preparation for new challenges 😅
If you did run the Dozen let me know what you thought of it and your experience!
That final climb was insane! 😂 Amazing work to film it and finish at the front.

Great work Francois!! 💪🏼 x
What a crazy race! Looks like a good time but also a challenge. Fun video!
A good old soggy hill run! Well done everyone in what looked like testing conditions, good to see the supporters braving the elements as well 🏃👍
Indeed! With support like this, you forget the weather and just get on with enjoying it!

Community spirit and support is brilliant! Every local club has it and the weather and conditions usually make for a great race!

Top work Francois! Type 2 fun - enjoyed being on the precipice with you! What a race: kudos to DRC and all the volunteers!
Great to see you, hope you’re not too injured and managed to rest up! Until the next one!
Great
Loved this. No idea how you stayed upright filming it! It was really tough going, but lots of fun. Well done, great run 👍
I had loads of fun, only fell over once, but wasn’t filming at the time! 😜

Thanks! Enjoyed this one, despite the mud. Great race and trying to share the experience - even the tough times! 😆

You’ll enjoy it! Don’t worry about that! Definitely type 2 fun tho, but sounds like you’re prepared!
