I'm thinking he'll be in a special where more doctors team up (maybe 8-12?, since Paul can still play him and hasn't really aged much to look any diffent.) when they found a chance to find Gallifrey. I can see that happening. It's worthy of a multiple doctor story. It takes more than one Doctor to find Gallifrey. Maybe multiple masters. Return of fan favorites like Amy and Rory Williams and River Song. Maybe Jack Harkness. Finally I hope we get another look at the Curator cuz it's Tom Baker.

Michael Diehl He BECAME a fan of the show. He wasn't when he applied for the role. In preparation for playing the character, he watched some of the original series, including episodes from the 2nd doctor.
Matt did a great job of studying and picking up trivia about the show quickly. It made him a terrific doctor and successor to David Tennant. Matt has served the fans beautifully and continues to do so showing up at fan events.
The Twelfth Doctor could always get thrown into a dimension where the Hand Doctor and Rose are living outside of an anniversary special. In fact, returning as that "human" doctor may be smart as it could easily explain aging.
I think it would be awesome to bring back the Hand Doctor... but one who HASN'T lived happily ever after with Rose. I mean, the show just kinda left them in a weird "Is that really gonna work?" situation. I think it would be way more interesting if they'd TRIED being together for a while, but he couldn't take feeling like the silver medal anymore. And being human, he would be more prone to jealousy, especially concerning the Tardis. If you had centuries of memories of having power over time and space and then suddenly you're just a regular schmo, stuck in one place with a woman who thinks of you as a copy... well that might inspire you to do questionable things. Maybe some dangerous universe hopping to get back what you think of as yours. It would also be an awesome opportunity to see Rose meet Dr. 12, and all the awkwardness that would come with that. It almost writes itself.
Kade Smash Not necessarily. Just fallible... something they already established he is. I don't think they should make it like he's trying to take over the universe or anything. Just steal the true doctor's property because... why shouldn't he? He knows how to use it. He knows the rules. He knows he's only going to live for another few decades at most. He might even intend to return it (if you wanna go easy on him). Doctor 10 only created him as a by-product because he was so resistant to the idea of turning into the next guy. This would be about his chickens coming home to roost. They wouldn't have to make 10.2 and outright villain... but if they wanted to weave in a different villain who benefited from 10.2's actions... well that could be where he learns his lesson about why he shouldn't be the guy with the time machine after all.

It should also be about Rose realizing and coming to accept that the REAL doctor she's been longing for no longer exists the way she wants him. 1100 years older, and so drastically different, having spent only 6 years as that guy, over half a lifetime ago. 10.2 is a hell of a lot closer to what she wanted than proper 12 ever could be. And 12 is in agreement, and he's annoyed with her for screwing up the happy ending he tried to give her...until the very end of the story when he secretly reveals that there's more 10 left in him than he's willing to admit.
***** Can't copyright an idea. Only a completed work. Anyway, it's easy to come up with ideas for stuff I'd like to see happen in other people's shows and movies. Not quite so easy to actually sit down and hash it all out. I only go to that much trouble when it's my own original characters and material that I could conceivably sell some day. (Plus I'm not quite sharp enough to write British dialog.) But this story... it's already pretty much set up. They have this whole foundation for a nice little fan-satisfying arc there and they don't even know it.

He is a great actor and what a Doctor. Love the fantastic memories of my childhood looking back. All through primary. Then Matt taken over and I loved him too. It sounds like the people who make Dr Who really put the cast through a rigorous schedule. I think David just doesn't want to have to go through all of that again. The Travelling, long hours. Lots of pressure and demands. It's a pity because in my opinion and most others David Tennant was the best doctor since Tom Baker and we "don't want him to go" We want him and his wife (Jenny) to be back as a Duo on the show. Though it'd be a bit weird now to have a father/daughter relationship now that they're married in real life but it would have really been epic. Us fan boys would love a solid 5 seasons of that dynamic.

It's always annoying to pass previous actors of the Doctor off as if they never aged a day during multi-Doctor specials. I have an idea. Instead of waiting for the next special to film previous Doctors interacting with the most recent incarnation, why not write a story and film the previous Doctor scenes for the special years in advance so that the actors would indeed look just like they did during their run on the show. All they'd have to do for scenes where the future Doctor interacts with them, they could have a green screen or stand-in. They could splice in the new Doctor plus additional scenes when ever the future special is supposed to be aired. Just imagine the possibilities. Of course, it would probably be to ambitious of an undertaking for the company to allow. I can dream at least.
I think the doctor can degenerate if you remeber in the episode when the doctor and Martha jones went to the end of the univers when David tennant saw his hand he remembered the moment when he lost it and he was having the same look and lost his a way before the saison 1 With Christopher's doctor. so maybe he can come back.

They didn't find him being very human odd as it seemed normal to them. There's a lot of fan reactions and art based on his looks and romance with Rose. Capaldi had complaints about him being too old, how could a comment be made like that without this boyfriend Doctor template having been DT created. I'm not saying he isn't great, but he comes with so much baggage.
So the quick answer is: Yes, he would definitely come back, but likely only on future major anniversary specials.
Which is more than fine to be honest. Lets allow another 10 years for this wonderful show to expand.

also, if you're looking to see him in another villainous role (with an english accent), jessica jones is great. it's really quite dark and mature, but also one of the best series i've seen in a long time.

It's always annoying to pass previous actors of the Doctor off as if they never aged a day during multi-Doctor specials. I have an idea. Instead of waiting for the next special to film previous Doctors interacting with the most recent incarnation, why not write a story and film the previous Doctor scenes for the special years in advance so that the actors would indeed look just like they did during their run on the show. All they'd have to do for scenes where the future Doctor interacts with them, they could have a green screen or stand-in. They could splice in the new Doctor plus additional scenes when ever the future special is supposed to be aired. Just imagine the possibilities. Of course, it would probably be to ambitious of an undertaking for the company to allow. I can dream at least.

I think the doctor can degenerate if you remeber in the episode when the doctor and Martha jones went to the end of the univers when David tennant saw his hand he remembered the moment when he lost it and he was having the same look and lost his a way before the saison 1 With Christopher's doctor. so maybe he can come back.

He is, although a lot of people who would vote for him also haven't seen classic Doctors too to properly benchmark. They didn't find him being very human odd as it seemed normal to them. There's a lot of fan reactions and art based on his looks and romance with Rose. Capaldi had complaints about him being too old, how could a comment be made like that without this boyfriend Doctor template having been DT created.
I'm not saying he isn't great, but he comes with so much baggage.
