If Seymour and Peters were able to throw around Luxon like a pair of mongrels with a chew toy, it truly speak volumes of how weak and pathetic a leader he is. What a cowardly abandonment of responsibility.
Hana is a powerful wahine. She is māori all day every day amd has such mana. I respect her deeply and can't stop watching this haka. I saw a tiktok with over 9 million likes! More than our whole population!
Chewie made a great point . ACT are taking direct aim to bring across at least 5% but hopefully 10% of extreme far right folk who voted National last year.Creating fear / division /chaos / mayhem is obviously the way they are going about it. However they have created more unity within Maori and those with more centrist views so it could be counter productive not so much for ACT but certainly for the NATS. BTW the look of Brownlee's rather large face when the Haka began is gold.
@colinrichards3012 perhaps it's time people learn that although we might all be New Zealanders, we are not all the same and differences need to be recognized, respected, and we can learn from each other.
@@colinrichards3012 I agree with education as obviously it ia a major key to lift folk out of the poverty cycle but the "get off their backsides" bit is just run of the mill prejudice stuff.
Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke Te pati Māori Member at 21-year-old stands up alongside her supporters against right-wing Ludacris Treaty Principles Bill regarding ACT Leader David Seymour change ridiculous
Maori are being called savages by this haka, it's all over the Internet, not only that tomorrow Brian tamaki has organised a hikoi in protest of the flying of flags other than the nz one which looks like a jab at the Maori hikoi's so what is it now Maori vs Maori 🤦
What happened to the leaked document on National’s advice there are existing principles for a couple weeks back? Was it deemed unwise to leak further for fear of legal repercussions?
How do you feel about Matiki Mai's reconstituting the country with a Multicultural Treaty based Constitution ? Reconstituting in itself will change Treaty and He whakaputanga ,we have interpreted Treaty as Bi cultural document .
That will not work either. So long as the signed Te Tiriti stands, their rights are secured. This fight is over the simple fact that Maori rights are under threat, as pretty much usual. The difference is, Maori are growing more united, and more hostile each time these backlashes happen.
So what exactly is the non-ACT side proposing? Kick the can down the road and let the courts fumble around the definition of the law? Or set up special authorities that favour a race? I'm keen to hear better alternatives to clarifying the meaning of the law. And I do support divesting central power from colonialists.
Definitely felt the pride and strength from that haka. Got the point across to the opponent too. I'll be there on Tuesday to support those protecting the history of my country. Also Chewie, awesome tshirt, my favorite band.
The smock looks on David Seymour who changes the treaty principles bill is a waste of time and Te Pati Māori and supporters against this policy having a hikoi. National, ACT and NZ on a power trip our prime minister Christopher Luxon where is here? That's right he's in Peru on business.
Why should Willie apologise for speaking the truth. And equality? Màori currently die SEVEN years earlier than everyone else. When Màori life expectancy equals pakeha then we can talk about equalty. Lastly, Te Tiriti principles are there for the same reason as the Màori electoral seats. They are put in place by parliament specifically as a pacifier so that successive governments can evade the question of Màori sovereignty. They are a so-called 'compromise' avoid admitting fault
Seymour playing a long game, undermining National trying to force his libertarian world view on everyone, going from an electrical engineer to quickly working for a think tank in Canada funded by very wealthy people (Koch bros) Cato institute, create agendas and ways to enact them

Perhaps they are actually beginning to create equality for everyone here in N.Z. today.

@@colinrichards3012 Equality means lifting those up at the bottom of things like health /poverty statics so hopefully your right.
@jackohere1878 ... and offering an education, so people get off their backsides & get a job.

You can lie in Parliament, but you can't ever accuse someone of lying. Because pointing out the bad things is SO MUCH WORSE than the bad thing
I agree with Chloe Swarbrick as Greens Leader made great points regarding the right-wing decision are unacceptable.
Maori girl I'm voting for you 100%
Great haka, I wouldn't be surprised if it goes globally viral, the world wants to see the end of the status quo,
Told you fullas trump would win
Hana was also named international young politician of the year!!
Battle lines drawn
Luxon is a crooked coward.
Luxon has 2 ministers who are already in Peru. Winston being one of them. There’s no need for Luxon to attend.
Let's pass the buck to his mates DS & WP what a lame excuse
Yep, they couldn’t get far enough away
thanks for being an online voice of reason boys 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 great discussion
love the powerful haka and it's fight for maori rights

The MP for Pakuranga could not defend their position, and NZ First are the same. Nz first could have obtained on vote.
The speaker lost control of the chamber.
He never had control of it to begin with. He is worse than Mallard, and that takes some doing. He lost it plenty of times.
He is a first class bully

E mea ana te Kawana, ko nga whakapono katoa, o Ingarani, o nga Weteriana, o Roma, me te ritenga Maori hoki, e tiakina ngatahitia e ia.
I voted for Hana. 🔥Ka whawhai tonu mātou, Ake! Ake! Ake! 🖤🤍❤
Ko tana koorero hou, ka Ora tonu maatou, ake ake ake🖤🤍❤️🙏🏾
Hana is amazing

ACT, Atlas Networkers and any other anti-Māori Colonialist Grifter outfit will be kicked out. No hiding for these cowards anymore.
Who are these people
Do you think Maori will further suffer when they have to share GOVT putea funding Multiculturalisim in its full costs
