Before my husband became a great husband, I had to endure a lot of pain from the dating relationship. Despite all my constant prayers of having a man that will truly love me, passionately desire me, fervently devote his time to God, for a year, it’s like I was being tested. My faith in God was being tested, my patience, and most especially my grace towards my man. And then one day, the most damaging moment happened, and the next day, the prayer was answered. My best friend and I are married now and I am living my answered prayer each day, thanking God each day for all those stormy trials. I know it’s hard to keep our faith up when things seem to never go right. But trust that the Lord has heard you. He is the Father, and you are right that He will bless you with only what is good for you. God bless you ❤

*To add on to your veggie analogy* And even if the baby is super super hungry the parent can’t and won’t take the vegetables out of the pot early and give the vegetables to the baby although they don’t want their baby to be hungry and would love for their baby to eat those yummy vegetables they can’t feed it to them too early because the vegetables will be half cooked and too crunchy/hard for the baby to eat and could harm the baby and make the baby choke plus the baby doesn’t even have enough teeth to chew them thoroughly yet and the baby will have wished they waited even though they wanted and still want those veggies ❤

I've been feeling so bad about being 29 and not doing anything with my life, but, what you said is true, if I get a job and blow through my money, what's the use lol. I've been waiting for a lot of years but I also feel like God has been waiting on me to grow and mature and I am finally doing it. Please bear with me, I have a lot to say also, sorry for the potential typos. I think a better analogy of the steamed broccoli is more like a newborn baby and hard food, the steamed broccoli implies that the blessing changes, but no, it’s more like when YOU mature, aka when a baby grows up and he is ready to chew hard food, you would be more ready to receive the (hard food) blessing. When the baby is still a new born, he would not be ready to chew hard foods, since it will hurt them and potentially be deadly, 😵😫 this also works with when you are newly saved, the things that God tells you and your relationship with him are kind of like of like when your a baby and God will provide more and speak to you more….etc etc, this analogy is also kind of in the Bible, 「In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.」 Hebrews 5:12-14 NIV 「Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly-mere infants in Christ. I went through a valley after that, after I told you that I mustered up the courage to say “Jesus loves you” to a stranger, the enemy instantly attacked saying that just that wasn’t enough, and that really discouraged me and hindered my faith and relationship with God, but now things are going good again! I prayed the first time in a few days! I really now appreciate the word of God and have started to read it again, you know, it’s so crazy, the words of the living Creator of the universe? That loves you so much that he died for you…. WOW I’m kinda tearing up now lol
I just wanna thank God and thank you so much for EVERYTHING that you do! I cannot express how much you’ve done for me!

Thank you for sharing your testimony also. I'm so proud of you for doing that and getting out of that valley. The Creator of the universe really does love you, oh so so much. Whenever I really think about the love of God, I always get overwhelmed and teary-eyed too. He's too good to us.
