I would say it’s because of the endurance of both players, at the beginning of each frame their odds of potting were quite high, but as you can see during the video each player had spectacular comebacks, furthermore the frame would not end until enough games were played. This and the fact that the caliber of the match was so high for both of them… a new world title, would have probably played a big role in the bunch of missed shots they both had.
