I'm using Betaflight 10.4.0, the BL command returns "Unknown command, try 'help'", and the DFU command simply disconnects the Flight Controller and COM1 is shown in the upper right corner instead of DFU. So the Firmware flasher says "No response from the bootloader, programming: FAILED".
I found entering BL worked if I left the battery plugged in while I disconnected the USB connection. When I plugged the USB back in DFU was one of the connection choices.
worked for me, even on a old spracing f3 board .... typed BL, then disconnected usb, reconnected..showed com connection instead of DFU, but then when I hit flash it proceeded fine. Used to seeing DFU when I do it, but I guess using this method it just uses the regular com connection now. At least on this board. Didn't have to bridge the jumpers or anything as I normally would have in the past.

Depend on your fw using? You can use command is "dfu" or "bf" in cli.

doesn't appear to work anymore. must have removed that option... might want to confirm and if so remove this misinformation.

Hope you got it to work, at first I thought betaflight crashed, but after closing the app and reopening it, it just turned into DFU.
