Please listen to more of the Beatles, you will appropriate they quality and foresight of their music. I am now in my 60 and lived in London when the Beatles were at the height of the music and have no double in a 100 years, their music will still be played.

You can't take songs by Little Richard or Chuck Berry and play them with an orchestra. With the Beatles you can. And you can play them in a jazz-rock fusion manner, as Pat Metheney did sometimes ago with And I Love Her.

@@bats9218 I guess what I am really asking is how they feel about the Music itself as say compared to some piece by Bach, or Beethoven or Mendel. I once read where a concert Musician, said The Beatles music was simplistic compared to classical.

The siplicity of the songs is a part of the beauty of the music of this boyband. The choir is too much.
The Beatles are not a Boy Band. Boy Bands do not write their own music.
With due respect, this interpretation has no drive. As Paul used to say in the Abbey road studio: "Do you want to get paid or what?"

I have never understood these performances with a big choir that hardly sings any of the song.
Very simple: it‘s an interpretation by an orchestera and not by singers😊
@@danielschlatter7606 So what is the point of the choir? Any noises they make can be done by the orchestra whereas the orchestra cannot sing the way the song was intended.
Imagine an orchestra playing Tchaikovsky with the whole string section removed.
Why do so many orchestrators iron all the syncopation out of melodies when they adapt pop songs for orchestra? You’ve already lost a huge amount of expression from the melody taking the expressive subtleties of a human voice and human language away from it - instrumental arrangements expose the weaknesses of melodies not originally designed to be instrumental - why make it worse by ironing all rhythmic interest out of it?

Why the fuck is there a drum set in a classical arrangement? I know that drums can be used and have been made in different academic compositions of the 20th and 21st centuries, but this version sounds horrible, flat, square, boring. The idea of making a classical arrangement is to change the language, go from pop to "formal" music. If not, why bother?
