For a smaller channel this is probably the best unit guide and bolt action guide i have ever seen. he always has great content on things from German armor, to a unit as simple as an AT rifle. Thank you for your great work and i really appreciate the time you spend to make really top tier video guides. well done
Thank you. I spotted the lack of content and decided to make it my niche. It’s paid off tremendously. My early Bolt Action videos were a springboard for the channel and I get a lot of gratification from the community in doing them.
I play soviets without a big tank and AT-Rifles are very important stop or at least dissuade transports from driving up to an objective. They are never useless, your opponent will most likely never shoot at them and if... they just wasted a units activation on very few of my points.
I would love to see a faction review for Romanians but you would have to include fortress budapest book for it. It completes Romanians with ability to play on soviet side
Romanians gain so much in this book. The mountanieers and the Pionieers are so Important. When you Take 2 medium howitzers and a Nebelwerfer you realy need the flamethrowers for anti Tank dutys.
In Konflikt 47 AT-rifles have a new use; power Armored infantry. And Finns in K47 even have in their revised faction special rules that both rifles AND AT-rifles get the +1 shooting from ambush.
Very good video on this team, mate. I really enjoy playng them, but also against them. This piece of equipment is worth every point and can ruin your day if you ignore it.
I am starting a Soviet force, only about 500 points painted up so far, even though it’s twice the model count as my German force, and I have 2 ATR in mi list. Itching to see how they do. I think they will be more of a nuisance then do any meaningful damage, but that’s the point. Pins, pins, pins
I made about 4 PTRD's due to the prone figure you get with most Soviet infantry kits and sprues including the ones you get as tank riders for the IS-2 and KV-1/2
@@HollywoodWargaming Funny you mention that as I run all 3 teams as my 3 picks a Anti-tank Rifle, tough tank hunter, and dog mine. My poor opponents half the time have no idea just which one is coming out to either torch or explode any of his stationary vehicles. So far my tough tank hunters have been the most successful with a Tiger I, 3 Pz III's, and a Pz IV kills. They almost got a Panther Ausf A but the SD Kfz 251 that was trailing sort of just let loose with the frontal MG-34 and due to Hitlers Buzzsaw the last dice was the one that killed the last man and so destroyed the team. If it was anyone other than the Germans I would of been fine LOL
Good Video about this weapon. My experience is mutch like described in it. i use it regulary and with it i killed a lot of armored vehicles like M3 Halftracks

I most definitely use these guys. Great to use in transports. Like the Bren carrier u can use them to man the pintail MG
