Iga is just too good on clay. I'm just hoping she's left enough in the tank for RG. This is possibly the best form I've seen her in coming into a GS tournament. (SPOILER ALERT!) Beating Sabalenka in back-to-back finals will definitely boost her confidence.
Sabalenka will be underdog of Iga. By the time they retire, it would be 20-3 h2h. Sabalenka plays tennis with her body but not with her brain. But tennis is the game of both body and brain. Serena played the same way but during that time no one figured out how to neutralise the power. Henin, Hingis failed but Iga figured out how to neutralise the power. Serena had the biggest serve in the game though. Bravo Iga!
I'm not a Serena fan at all, but the ONLY thing Sabalenka and Serena have in common, relates to Serena's decline, later in her career. With her athleticism in decline, she took to screaming to make up the difference. Sabalenka has used the scream..loud grunts for distraction from the beginning of her career. Her skill level was no where near Serena's

Serena was away ahead of her generation in power tennis and her serve kept her in the top position for long time. No way I would compare Sabenka with Serena.

She has "pre-scream", "scream", and "post-scream", actually. What I don't get is that her "post scream" comes when the opponent is moving towards winding up to play their shot, which should surely be interfering. Not to mention it's extremely effing irritating to witness that shrieking. I remember all those times watching Sharapova and Azarenka play each other. It was just horrifying.

Sabalenka needs a coach just for teaching how to convert the break points. Iga is not a very good server but still Sabalenka misses so many breaks points to convert! Her coach probably doesn’t talk about this in great detail. Madrid she had so many break points including match points and Rome she had so many of them too. She just don’t have plan on how to play on break points. She has not solved her serve problem either.
I do not watch or only watch muted any game that the screamer Sabalenka plays in. I absolutely refuse to pay a penny to see her in person and have my ears pierced for two hours.

This has to be the worst era in women’s tennis, so so boring. We really didn’t know how good we had it with the Williams sisters, Henin, Clijsters, Capriati, Sharapova etc etc. Swiatek has no real competition. If she was around during Serena’s peak Serena would lead that H2H 6-0 by now.
