I'm using the bigger brake kit from gowesty. Im waiting on the tires that will fit over the unit. Once I install I will definitely let you know. Thank you for the content
I just completed the front gowesty big brake kit yesterday. The stopping power is significantly better than before and much smoother. I bled both ports (its has two per caliper) but my mechanic friend that was with me said the higher level bleed valve was all I needed to bleed. We also knocked it with a rubber mallet to shake up any bubbles and we made sure it was properly bled. I still did the upper and then lower bleed valve but didn't see any bubbles when doing the lower. I drove up to 60mph and did a brake check, and it stopped almost half the distance than the original brakes. I feel a little safer but i just wish that when I got the LONGER stud set from gowesty. My thread engagement with the new 15inch wheel is a little concerning to me, but I was assured it will be fine. Overall, I highly recommend the kit. I feel a huuuuge difference from the stock.
note.... I had big trouble with wheel spacers with the big oval holes. I had wheel un-balance on my van - but back at the tire store they showed perfect balance. Then laying a straightedge across the wheel I found that the aluminum wheel surface was "deforming into" those large stud holes. I used a flat hand-file to cut down all the 'lumps' around each stud hole. I used a nice new sharp file, it's fairlyy easy to see when you're down flush to the original (dirty) surface. Then the wheels set flat and ran ***smooth***👍🏽. I trashed the cast spacers and bought new flat spacers with tight-matched stud holes. HTH!!
@@Slovanagon Audi 5000 wheels 215/75R15 (Syncro). I started with smaller 17mm spherical lugnuts but they seemed to deform aluminum into the wheel spacer voids "worse". I switched to 19mm spherical and they torque down hard with the new flat spacers. There can be a lot of detail to "wheels" !!
Nice job, enjoyed the way you work. It was just like I was doing it myself, except you're much faster and less re-dos. I just finished my install this AM. OK so it's been 7 months.... does your handbrake hold OK? (I hope so....)
Nice job, enjoyed watching. Music is peaceful.
Thanks for sharing your zen🥂
Thanks much. I appreciate you
Good stuff, really clean van.👍
Thanks much 👍🏽
More vids! I have trying to upgrade my van. I will attempt the front bigger brake kit soon
Thanks much . I have a few more videos, working on editing. Let me know how the front big brakes workout. If they’re worth it.
Please do!
Let me know if you upgrade your front brakes if it’s worth it and which kit you use

Nice! I’m glad everything worked out. What size wheel and tire are you using?
