Ways of Knowing through the Changing Landscapes of Esoteric Art

For many years esoteric and occult practices in art have been sidelined as marginal and even taboo within art historical discourses. However, the recent cultural explosion of interest in esotericism and the occult is redefining the contributions of esotericism to the development of visual art, particularly from the late nineteenth century onward. In this illustrated talk and conversation, Dr. Amy Hale explored how our understanding of artists’ esoteric practice shapes the conversation between art, artists, and the audience.

As an art educator, I searched, selected, watched & liked the YT video. I enjoyed the slideshow images of artistic expressions by varied artists. It ties my initial fascination with abstract artists, such as Kandinsky and Dali, to spiritual symbolism and self-representation in art.

Perhaps the turning of the Wheel is the reason. Many esoteric things in plain sight for centuries possibly thousands of years. Da Vinci's table, the 12 constellations personified human. At center is the V, the axial tilt, Precession, without which non of it works. The table the plane of the ecliptic. The full precession the Great Year 25,920 diurnal years. Below the table he placed the four seasons of the great year disguised as pillars, supports but in reality its four sets of legs. Notice the scrolling of the woodwork up high inside the legs, notice center top between where the scrolls stop is an opening. From left to right the scrolling becomes more pronounced and the small almost un noticeable opening of the first support widens in #2, 3 and 4. He created the womb, the visible part of the vagina eg vulva / labia and the opening is cervix. From left to right shows contractions and dilation till the birth occurs in support #4. It had to because that seasonal marker is below the personified Aquarius. Note Aquarius is aligned over its season, Scorpio is aligned with its and all the way left Taurus is aligned with its season. However if you'll notice Leo is mal aligned and Virgo is over Leo's marker. His countenance seems unsettled, he's holding a dagger. That cusp of Leo & Virgo is ballpark 12,920 years ago, right about the time something happened unfolding an apocalyptic event on this earth. Referred to as Younger Dryas. To the rear of table is a pyramidal shape and a path meandering from it. The last reference point of that path has it heading to Leo / Virgo cusp. At Giza the middle pyramid I like to call the pyramid of the apocalypse is different than Khufu's and Menkaure's. They're both accompanied by 3 small pyramids. Khafre's is not although its possible one is there in total ruins except some base material. Out front east of Khafre's are the Mortuary Temple, the valley Temple, a causeway and a Sphinx. That Sphinx is one or both of the following. Its Leo and face of a man (Aquarius), both are opposed on the Zodiacal plane. Or its as I suspect, the face has a hint of femininity, its Leo and face of Virgo possibly marking that same apocalyptic juncture Da Vinci left us with. The path of Menkaure leads to Sphinx like Da Vinci showed? Its important to remember Christ came at tail end of Aries so his initial appearance is exactly where you'd expect in a manger, The Lamb. Quickly the Great Wheel turned and Pisces came, he grew and parables added Fish to the Shepherd, Sheep, Lamb and flock teachings. In Pisces Aquarius was dawning, the end and beginning of a Great Year so the teaching referenced born again, Aquarian Age. Same with Da Vinci, live during Pisces but Aquarius was dawning. Its why he used feet beneath the 3rd and fourth seasons eg legs of his table. The shading the toes used to illustrate the hem of her garment and baby is peeking out in #4. You can compare to Virgen de Guadalupe 1780 ca. She's standing on a waning crescent moon. A new age, fertility, the uterine horns, she's birthing the angel with face of a man eg Aquarius. In the west the horns are shaded back, bull horns of Taurus. Message is Wheel has turned, Season marked by Taurus is past, its 3 platonic months Taurus, Aries and Pisces has turned and the Season and month marked by Aquarian symbol is born. Da Vinci's last Supper is a Clock, a calendar of what's above in relation to earth. Question is the Apocalypse at 12,900 year markers. Once or continual. My bet's on the latter. They went through enough of them to write it in stone. The large pyramids are either each a Great Year, four sides the four seasons, the three satellite pyramids the 3 platonic months of a season or each is a Great Season with satellites of its 3 months. Not sure but both are mind blowing. Former would indicate some 77,000 years of tracking, latter would beg the question why only 3 seasons. Something happen? What would put us as children again, born again. Fiery dragon, Serpent? Most likely. We're at the 12,920 mile marker of the figure 8 hour glass right now. Iron age minds oxidizing turning to rust waiting on a wind to erase into the midst of the mists of time. Our once High culture, its cities and institutions are either dead or well on their way. Buckle up.
