I remember when I was little and watching my mom play this and being in awe at how good she was. Mom LOVES Legend of Zelda, she even named me after a character in ocarina of time. I tried to play and couldn’t get out of the carriage fight 😂 this brings me nostalgia like the resident evil games cause she’d play Resident Evil 5 all the time. I’d even play with her sometimes haha
This game legitimately terrified me as a kid, I remember it being so scary and dark but watching it now I’m laughing at my old self for being so scared.

I have fond memories of this game with my family. My sister had dislocated AND broken her shoulder and had two young kids to deal with on top of that, so my mother and I would go to help out throughout the week and then go home on weekends. My sister had a Wii and several party games on it and I'd mess around with those games with my nephew and neice, but none of them were really games for a bored 14 year old. Well my sister knew how much I loved Legend of Zelda because she was the one who introduced me to it (Link to the Past on Gameboy Advance) years before. So while she and my mother were out, my sister bought Twilight Princess on the Wii, and her exact words were that it wasn't a game for her or her kids, it was a game she'd bought for me even if I didn't own the Wii. And for the next few months as my sister recovered I would play that game every night and my family would watch. They'd help me with the puzzles, they'd comment on the artstyle, my mother especially was surprised to see so much detail in a video game because she was used to games with a lot more pixelation and sprites, my nephew and niece would run away and hide during the scary parts, and my sister would make fun of all the noises everyone made (her favourte was Zant, who she thought sounded like a chicken). Good times. I miss this game.

This is the first Zelda game I ever played, somehow I grew up on Nintendo and never played any of them, I got a Wii and fell in love with this game and played it every day on the floor with a small tv every day. From there I grew into all the other Zelda games. I absolutely LOVE the intro as well and you can see how it influenced games like Shadow of the Colossus.
I was born the exact day/year LOZ was released, always had such a deep affinity with the series. I was SO hoping they would release Twilight Princess for the switch but seeing this play-through start is just as good to me. Loved your previous LOZ LPs and cant wait to watch this series as well. I was going to replay this myself (again, a third time), and while I still will eventually (and a fourth, and a fifth, and read the manga [yes there is a manga for Twilight Princess, not a doujin, a proper modern release {not even complete as of writing this} with the official Nintendo seal]), but it's always fun to see it through anothers eyes. Plus I've never watched any of Gabs content, so this should be a fun introduction to her let's play style.

I am pretty sure everyone hated that level. I consider air levels to be ten times worse then water levels in Zelda. They are so difficult to navigate and their is a high probability to die to either enemies or to the highly dangerous environment.

YESSS, this is my favourite Zelda game! I first played it many years ago and thought it was terrifying xD Fighting those dark creatures always made my heart race. Scaryyy. Looking forward to watching the rest!
For what I know of Zelda they say that his wolf form happens because of the twilling zone, you will see that others when in there have only a soul form, while those with the trie force maintain their form, the same way that Zelda can change to that other lady(forgot her name, haha) and Ganon can change into his beast boar gigantic form. God that intro alone made me cry. I recently watched a video by Of Herbs and Altars about how much harder it was to deal with depression and whatnot in the 90s when things like this were less available, and it really hit home again the fact that whenever I felt like doing something bad to myself, it was always just easier to ignore that feeling by playing this game.
So EXCITED!!! Small tip: don’t hesitate to light up every torch’s especially when there are 2! This was my first Zelda game and I was slightly older when I first played it so this is a game that had so much impact on me. I consider this as my favorite game of all times. This pains me to see it not reversed though haha i know that’s how it should be but it’s not the version I grew up with. Anyway!! Really happy to see Gab play this and even more knowing she doesn’t remember much! Can’t wait to see her reactions!

@@perphhh8704 I know this is an old comment now, but it's the only time I can use this useless info - the reason they flipped the map on the Wii version is because they changed Link's sword arm from left to right for the motion controls, and for some reason the easiest way to accommodate this in the programing was to just flip the whole in-game map.

It has been soo long since i have seen that intro screen! So much nostalgia and so many good memories! This is my favorite Zelda game because it is the first one I beat alone so i have sooo much more of a connection to it. I have watched every episode so far and can't wait for more!
Oh man, one of my favorite Zelda games in the series! The lighting in this game was absolutely phenomenal! I remember being completely enamored and obsessed with the lighting when this came out; I guess for me it really enhanced the experience. This is a solid entry in the series, and I can't wait to see more! I'm hoping maybe Nintendo will do a port collection of some of the Zelda 3D titles like they did with Mario, but we'll just have to wait and see.
I’m really hoping that after the Mario anniversary officially ends we will get some Zelda 35th anniversary stuff, or maybe after Skyward Sword rereleases

The dewy look is preferred in South Korea. And all these tinted moisturizers are imitating BB cream and CC cream from over there so... yeah. Just put some translucent powder and it will mattify it.
I go for dewy looks! When set properly they don’t make you look sweaty at all, just fresh-faced. but people with oily skin might not look good with that type of finish, since during the day they get shinier in the face than someone with dry skin ❤️ loving the LP!
I am late to the party, and I am sure someone has already said this, but just in case... East Asian beauty standards recognize dewy skin as healthy skin because it is properly moisturized. You can see the water retention of the skin. Matte skin is dry skin, which means your skin is lacking. I felt the same way as you and a lot of people in the comments until I lived in Korea. Now, I go for the dewy look because I know its just healthier for my skin.
This is truly a special game. This game, the original anyway, came out the year I was born. I've played it through multiple times and each time I still get the same amazement and wonder I had the first time I played. I know the Temples by heart and could do them blindfolded. Twilight princess takes place as my most favorite game of all time.

this game was hard, especially the dungeon in the clouds. Anything involving heights gives me great anxiety. god i hated that level.
That one wasn't too bad, the water temple was just as bad as the OOT water temple
I hated water temple because I was too dumb to figure out lots of things. I also hated the twilight place because of the freaky hand that grabs you.
I am pretty sure everyone hated that level. I consider air levels to be ten times worse then water levels in Zelda. They are so difficult to navigate and their is a high probability to die to either enemies or to the highly dangerous environment.
Ah finally my favorite Zelda Game. Thank you for creating wholesome and chill lets plays all the time and giving old games some screentime and love.
It's pretty interesting that you start playing JUST when I restarted this game

Ahhh we are so excited for more Gab Zelda content ✨✨✨ so very fun. This game is just so beautiful. I really liked the character designs here especially the kids and Ilia. Can’t wait to see what all quests you do and what you explore. Apparently they added a lot of the posters and paintings you checked in the HD version so that was really cool to see! Thank you for the video 😊

YESSS, this is my favourite Zelda game! I first played it many years ago and thought it was terrifying xD Fighting those dark creatures always made my heart race. Scaryyy. Looking forward to watching the rest!
Hell yeah! One of the greatest Zelda ever made💯
For what I know of Zelda they say that his wolf form happens because of the twilling zone, you will see that others when in there have only a soul form, while those with the trie force maintain their form, the same way that Zelda can change to that other lady(forgot her name, haha) and Ganon can change into his beast boar gigantic form.

I got my hands on this game weeks ago for the GameCube. It's worth it.
God that intro alone made me cry. I recently watched a video by Of Herbs and Altars about how much harder it was to deal with depression and whatnot in the 90s when things like this were less available, and it really hit home again the fact that whenever I felt like doing something bad to myself, it was always just easier to ignore that feeling by playing this game.

This was my first Zelda game and I was slightly older when I first played it so this is a game that had so much impact on me. I consider this as my favorite game of all times.
This pains me to see it not reversed though haha i know that’s how it should be but it’s not the version I grew up with.

I was so confused for the first 20 min, trying to figure out what felt off. Why the hell have they made it that way? Hahaha
@@perphhh8704 I know this is an old comment now, but it's the only time I can use this useless info - the reason they flipped the map on the Wii version is because they changed Link's sword arm from left to right for the motion controls, and for some reason the easiest way to accommodate this in the programing was to just flip the whole in-game map.

It has been soo long since i have seen that intro screen! So much nostalgia and so many good memories! This is my favorite Zelda game because it is the first one I beat alone so i have sooo much more of a connection to it. I have watched every episode so far and can't wait for more!

Oh man, one of my favorite Zelda games in the series! The lighting in this game was absolutely phenomenal! I remember being completely enamored and obsessed with the lighting when this came out; I guess for me it really enhanced the experience. This is a solid entry in the series, and I can't wait to see more!
I'm hoping maybe Nintendo will do a port collection of some of the Zelda 3D titles like they did with Mario, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Omg, I had to watch this again! I saw Jack his Dark Souls let’s play and I kept thinking of Twilight Princess for some reason (my fav Zelda game tbh), and then I remembered you had this playlist! Unfortunately I can’t play much games myself atm because I need to rest my wrist for a long time, but this is the best solution! Cause I always love your play style with Zelda games!
The dewy look is preferred in South Korea. And all these tinted moisturizers are imitating BB cream and CC cream from over there so... yeah. Just put some translucent powder and it will mattify it.

I go for dewy looks! When set properly they don’t make you look sweaty at all, just fresh-faced. but people with oily skin might not look good with that type of finish, since during the day they get shinier in the face than someone with dry skin ❤️ loving the LP!

I am late to the party, and I am sure someone has already said this, but just in case... East Asian beauty standards recognize dewy skin as healthy skin because it is properly moisturized. You can see the water retention of the skin. Matte skin is dry skin, which means your skin is lacking. I felt the same way as you and a lot of people in the comments until I lived in Korea. Now, I go for the dewy look because I know its just healthier for my skin.

This is truly a special game. This game, the original anyway, came out the year I was born. I've played it through multiple times and each time I still get the same amazement and wonder I had the first time I played. I know the Temples by heart and could do them blindfolded. Twilight princess takes place as my most favorite game of all time.
