Totally agree with u about schools in UK, but u should have kept the option open in Uk, i mean ur husband would have stayed in UK for 1 more year and would have taken the final decision after that....

I don't know if this is your personal experience, but I too got an offer in 2008. Initially, I was very excited, but gradually a kind of silent sadness developed in my mind about leaving everything. But suddenly, I made a U-turn and decided not to leave my country, and then it felt like a heavy load had been lifted off my shoulders.
I disagree with the school part, there are good schools as well bad schools everywhere. But what is best in UK education is its emphasis on the overall personality of the child rather burdening them with unncessary syllabus. I am very happy for both my kids 15 and 7 years old.
Also being a parent its our responsibility to keep them safe . Unlike india where women and girls are not safe.
Also india is not behind in drugs. It’s every where.
India do not have equal opportunities anyway for middle class/“.

I respect your personal views, but I completely disagree with your opinion on the UK education system. Both the Indian and UK education systems have their pros and cons. Schools in the UK offer various activities and after-school clubs to help children grow and develop. As per your view, the Indian education system seems to be a better fit for you, and there's nothing wrong with that. As adults, we take time to adapt to a new culture and place, so naturally, children will also need time to integrate. Also. What is the school rating of the place your children attended ? School rating makes big difference too…

Right decision you made, live in uk for 32 years with my husband n 3 children they are doing well in Jesus name,but now my husband passed away in India which we went on holiday, now me coming back my life is empty feeling stressed and home sick I am feeling ok in India cause all family is there to support,god bless your family your son is so cute

I don’t think education is bad in Uk. The way of teaching is different. Some parents like the way some don’t.There is no pressure . But definitely health care system is very slow and there is no house help. You mentioned kids do drugs in Uk . Nowadays it’s everywhere. So you have to keep an eye on children. Definitely weather is too cold but house got central heating system.You made a good decision coming back as your child was struggling with environment, he had not many friends. Definitely in there friends are real and for ever.

Schooling is a base for good learning & literacy. It has a much higher standard in India compared to U.K. However, for further education i.e. Graduation/Post Graduation & Degrees, U.K. is better & advanced. Indian Institutes, IIT & others of course are very highly recognised all over the world, but University education is below par. In U.K. you face discrimination on various stages as the Colonial mindset prevails. My 40+ years spent in U.K. & I moved back to Mumbai back in 2017.

True mam am in uk now but coming back next month bcj of my child uk school system not good according to me bcj sabka different opinions hai mara beta ko eczama hai winter mai vo School regular ne ja sakhda but school doesn't bother they want him to attend regular school no summer always windy weather u can't really go out with kids more than 3 hour everyday kids get sick and runny nose schools ma koi off day allow ne krta 2 year sa jacket pehn rha hai same weather no gp appointments biggest problem
We left India because my son could not cope with the studies especially languages, he was in 7th standard. Moved to Australia almost 24 years ago, he is well qualified, got the best job and also good friends. Life is good here, my hubby was in business in India we had everything going for us, but moved for my son's sake and our own life. No regrets whatsoever.

Okay so first of all, those who are merrily commenting about how "UK" is like this and like that, know that this is her personal experience and that's all there is to it. It has no significance on how UK in general is, her experience is very different and unique to herself. Not everyone who is having a lovely time in UK IS making TH-cam videos.So this is not the place to upgrade your general knowledge.
Personal experiences are very subjective, no matter where you live. So keyboard desh bhakts, quit hating. Just do what works for you. Have an open mind, there is good and bad everywhere. It is us that makes a place great or a gutter.

Yeh correct decision hai. Agar aap India mein financially stable ho , toh aap ko India mein problem nahin hai. For smaller classes India is better . For post graduation, abroad is good. I personally know of an Indian lady married to UK white but they came to India with their children just because of drugs & gangeism. I personally came back fm US when my kids were small

In our country indian schools have systems where u can choose educationsl board according to ur future pkan for ur children as IB board is for abroad schooling so chikd can easily adapt the education system while further study in abroad

I think it was biggest mistake. Your son will regret and please don't mind. If you can come back you should. It's very hard to get Citizenship. But one you get it you are sorted!! Early years are hard for everyone who wants to settle in UK or any other Countries.

I work in school and what are you talking about school curriculum absolutely wrong.
Children do all kind of activities, every term children have assemblies in school where children take part in ( which as you said stage programme) all school have sports activities after school which you’ve to pay.
Your child gets free education in uk.
You do have other reason but please don’t spread wrong assumptions about school.
