@@retronymph I'd say it's pretty good for it yeah. Everything is pretty easy to understand once you take the time to read the rules and go along with the rule book while you play it helps you picm up on things, at least thats how it did for me.
I love Mahjong and I must say, the pain I felt watching you guys continuously make the WORST possible play literally EVERY TURN was exactly the experience I was hoping for. Thank you for doing my favorite tabletop game justice.
Honestly, Mahjong isn't even that complicated. There's a close card-equivalent called Rummy that a lot of people are familiar with. Basic rules: Get triple tiles or straights of 3, and have a pair of tiles (eyes) at the end. Boom, winning hand.
I am making a psychic prediction the next one is "Last Card" idk it's just a strong intuition of mine, you normies wouldn't understand it because my brain is too powerful
Haven't watched yet but if I don't get some absolute confusion about mahjong in this I will be disappointed. Disclaimer: My brain cannot comprehend mahjong either.
@@AwsomenessRain this one does have four player just not on one console. I haven’t followed every episode but I’d assume he doesn’t have an extra switch lying around to do it.
There’s a reason it’s Worldwide and not American classics. Riichi Mahjong is MASSIVE in Japan, they have whole parlors, TV shows, and Magazines entirely dedicated to it. It’s super super commonplace, as much as anything like poker is here (also used for gambling). It probably feels foreign cause it literally IS foreign, Riichi ain’t in the US much, but it reps the vast scope of the world pretty well imo.
