Factory Reset Google Nest Mini

If you've been having problems with your Google Nest Mini you may want to try factory resetting it. This is how.

Changed our wifi. Kept getting "cant connect to wifi" error prompt. Gave up for a few months. This is the only thing that worked in reconnecting to the new wifi! Thanks!

Ok for those that are having trouble with nit hearing the beat. I attempted it many time and it does not work. My Google nest has an actual small button right below the charging port..press and hold that and it will work !!!

It is unusual at that stage as it connects to the device that you are using after the reset via the Google Home app. Is it that you've reset it and you are now trying to connect it?

Not sure how that would work as its not got a screen or keypad? You link a nest mini with the home app, there are instructions how to link it when you set it up. Have you got a home hub or something as its quite different.

Check the volume is on. If it doesn't make a sound once you've done that it may be that the device is faulty. Thanks.
