Jaguars is mainly used in role of ground attack aircraft..they are equipped for low level penatration strikes inside enemy territories (bombings and ground forces support missions etc.) but still it is supposed to be included in the list here..

We're 20 years behind from achieving our “Current” planned squadron strength i.e. 42 Squadrons & mostly 4.5++ and beyond Gen. Aircrafts. Right now our Airforce is in it's weak form. Squadron numbers will continue to decrease for next 10 years at least. More aircrafts will retire than new ones join IAF service. Hope they complete the MRFA 2.0 deal with 150 aircrafts (my wish) & Tejas mk1/a as well as mk2. Meanwhile upgrading the Sukhoi-30mki to planned Super Sukhoi standards. AMCA is future so until next decade..
Newer jets are more capable and also now a days squadrons number is also decreased , a squadron can have 14 jets also rather than 18 so , 35 squadrons needed

They have 2 squadrons of J10 and 156 J17. Our Su 30 were inducted in early 2000s . The current Tejas production issue is due to engines mainly. And maybe you are unaware but AMCA is in development phase, the cutting of its frame has started, and for your information HAL is production unit not the designing and development. The designing and development of Aircraft is don by ADA not HAL. the 5th gen fighter Pak is ordering isn't even out for production , it is still in prototype stage even though its first flight took place in 2012. Get your facts right man there are no operational J- 31 before the end of the decade. India is facing significant delays but it is still doing good.

Like eg if they say some project is doing to be ready in 5 years then, as per the actual time scale, it is be around 50 years ie 2048. And maybe you are unaware but AMCA is in development phase, the cutting of its frame has started, and for your information HAL is production unit not the designing and development. The designing and development of Aircraft is don by ADA not HAL. the 5th gen fighter Pak is ordering isn't even out for production , it is still in prototype stage even though its first flight took place in 2012. Get your facts right man there are no operational J- 31 before the end of the decade. India is facing significant delays but it is still doing good.
