"Great Playing Dave. "Nobody said it was easy" is still one of my top 5 desert island albums. Still listen to it all the time. Just great old school rock & roll. Im 61 & the album never gets stale. I saw this band at the Back Alley in Calgary on what had to be their last tour around 1996. Chuck Biscuits was drumming. He gave my friend Jon (who had drummed for DOA after Dimwit quit) a drum skin from his kit after they played. He pulled out a sharpie, drew one of his little Biscuits cartoons, and wrote "From last Danzig show ever, Chuck Biscuits". The next morning at Jon's house the drum head was sitting on the kitchen counter when I came in. Jon fingered it for a second then asked me "what do you know about this eBay thing?"
One of my favorite guitarists ever. Saw them on a Saturday night in Dallas at a club called the Basement. Was right after Nobody Said it was Easy came out. Lizmi with that black Les Paul. Haggis with that carved up Tele. One of the best live bands I've ever seen. Four Horsemen should have been massive but lady luck would have none of it.

Great band. Sorely underrated and were actually a bit different from the rest of the blues-tinged rock bands at the time.
