Hi, I would make sure the bobbin area is all clear of dust and fluff. Then re-thread the machine, check the tension is correct and that the correct bobbin is being used and that the bobbin is inserted correctly, check that you are using the right size needle and that it has been inserted the right way round. Also, the Pop Darner Pressure Adjuster on the top front of the machine, check that it is also adjusted to the right setting for the type of fabric thickness you are using. Hi on my same machine the wire has came out is it possible to take pictures of the in side of the wirign configuration please so I can get it working please. All you need to do is undo 2 screws take pictures and put the screws back. Kind regards.

Hi, It was nearly a year ago when I tested this machine. I only ever used it to make this video as I was selling it, so just made this video to show potential buyers that it works. I never used it before the video or after, so, I haven't really had much experience with the machine or used it for long. I think it's an alright machine, the older ones always seem to be built much better. Also, easier and cheaper to repair than newer machines, they were also made to last. Good luck with it! I have recently been given this machine but I have never come across this type... the needle is not at the centre of the foot and is fixed to the left of the foot? I can't figure how to change it? Can someone let me know if this is a quirk of the manufacturer please? Thank you. When zig zagging the mechanism shifts from side to side without giving the option to change the width of the stitch. I'd be grateful to hear from you if you have this machine. Thank you.
Hi, the machine in the video doesn't have a Left, Right and centre needle position dial. The manual provided is for the 45 mark 3 which is a similar machine but no totally the same. Regards

@@lisacotts The bobbin winder mechanism has to be pushed to wind the bobbin, and then you have to push it again the other way to disengage it after winding the bobbin. Also, the handwheel, the middle round silver bit has to be disengaged to wing a bobbin then you have to turn it again back to the position it was to sew.
