So many people say (with reason) that Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd (PULSE) is the best ever live guitar solo. That may be true, but in my opinion (as a PF fan), this is right up there alongside it.Totally different styles, but equally powerful and unforgettable. And just like PF, all of the DS members were at the top of their game. Tremendous!
This music never gets old. I've followed them since they first started and still get goosebumps when I hear them play especially this Alchemy concert.
So great seeing you the younger generation enjoying as much as us older people. Keep up the great work.
What makes him sound like he is playing so fast is because he is a finger picker, so he uses his thumb and 2 fingers to play and they essentially do 2 or 3 different things at the same time on the one guitar so it's like 2 guitars playing in one. He's not really a fast player but that style makes him sound fast. He's just one of history's best guitar players.

OMG!!! The votes were all in....I was ready to ring the bell....your reactions were priceless...you two were the best.....BUT....then you killed the baby by slicing it in half!!!!!!!! Why interrupt this iconic performance right in the middle to tell us for a full minute that you really liked it???? My God, why? Look, I still loved both your absolute joy and excitement listening to this, and still rate your "Reaction" as one of the best I've watched, but coitus interruptus is VERY painful to half the population.

It was filmed in 1983, I was there and you know its good, but you don't appreciate it so much. I was 18 and I've learned and seen a lot in the last 39 years!
