Thank you for taking the time to break down your process like this. There's quite a few things you touched on that I was curious about. I have one of these, just waiting for a new pad sensor, but in the meantime I've been watching tutorials. Thanks again brother. Beat was dope.
This the first time I have seen someone run thru the process this way. I'm more inclined to grab one these Boxes now. Thanks for taking the time to show the process int this manner.
when you tuned the bass down towards the end, were you just filtering part of the melody down in the eq to get it? what was the original sample on that pad?
@@skkrtoyota yes that’s exactly what I did. I filtered the sample down to just the low end frequencies that i liked. The original sample was a bass that had a synth pad, vocals and fx layered on it. So I just used the filter in the MPC to isolate that low end.
I don’t but check out this video I did with using my MPC 2000XL with Logic as a midi controller maybe that could be helpful. th-cam.com/video/5BbJufIrA9k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rYEHesKyKCd7VaVS
I still rock the mpc2000xl with the external SCSI zip drive. I have a graveyard of old broken ones I must have gone through about 40 of those things since then. And around 500 or 600 disks So I have a question how often do the internal zips break ? And where do you get one?
Hey thanks for your comment...My internal zip drive broke only once in the 20+ years that I've had it. You can get a replacement internal zip drive at mpcstuff website.
I have the Technic Turntable RCA cables going into a channel on my DJ Mixer. Then I’m coming out of the DJ Mixer main outputs and going into the RECORD IN (Left, Right) of the MPC2000XL
I thought I heard something off in the beat, but that didn't take away from the really good and enjoyable way he's teaching how to use the machine. I still found the video very helpful in navigating the MPC. but I think you're right about one of the sounds not matching up correctly.
killed this beat. video is fire and very informative. thank you.
🙏 Thank you for you watching!
Straight to the point. THANK YOU.

Do you have a video on how to sync Logoc with the MPC?

How do you have the technics connected to the 2000xl?

@@djmsquared Figured. I thought there was a possibility that you modded the rca port to accept phono-line inputs.
@@djmsquared Thanks.

IM SORRY BUT THE SAMPLE IS OFF ONE SOUND NEEDS TO BE DELETED..THEY DO NOT BOUNCE OFF OF EACH OTHER LIKE THE Y SHOULD
That is your opinion. Thanks for watching the video.

I think its because the percussive drum loop loops back over itself off beat
@@jeffreywilliams5871 thanks for watching
@@jeffreywilliams5871 IF U MOVE THE SAMPLE BACK A FRACTION IT WILL WORK..OTHER THAN THAT IT SOUNDS GOOD
