Seems to fly well, but the folds on the leading edge always makes me want to scream, on the Hacker wings. The wing is not perfectly tensed and it can't be without effect on the performances, according to me. I purchased a Hybrid 1.8 from Opale Paramodels, and it rocks!!!
Ahoy Sir. I just put my own Mr. Woody into mine. Thank you for the input on the Light system. Hope to see you at JoeNall 2019. Hope you are having a Great "Pi / 3.14 " Evening.
I asked a question about ballast on another video but have yet to receive a reply, so thank you for the heads-up and pointing me in the right direction 🙂👌🍻
It used a Hacker Motor for thrust, listed in the written review linked in the video description. The Servos used to move the brake lines for steering control were Hacker standard size servos.
Was the original purpose of the parafoil in your video, for use as a toy kite? I was thinking of using the same parafoil concept for controlled parachute landing of a fixed wing drone. In my case, would a standard parafoil kite work as a parachute?
Tony Santana We used Align DS615 servos, but any standard sized metal gear servos will work. Battery is 3S and it fits anything from a 2200mAH to a 4200mAH. We were flying a 4200mAH in the video.
Mine just came in yesterday. plan to put Woody into it also. ? where did you get the LED's , Is it the same system that we use in fixed wing R/C planes?
Hello Jason.. Met you at Stone Blue Airlines event in Western Virginia this summer and saw you flying this.. I was able to find one used on EBay. Just one question, do you use an extra lipo for balast in the chair pouch? I flew mine on first flight with just one 2200 Mah battery and it flew about 30 feet and as I applied power, the chair wanted to over-fly the chute. I am thinking more weight in the pouch would help it fly better? You look like you have yours balanced great!! THanks for any advice you can pass along...Vern
Great video Jason... i have just got hold of 1 of these, and I am just waiting on the wing to arrive. How have you set up your Dx9, I have mine working but the servos are moving no where near as quick as your's.. anything I can find is in German, and google translate comes up with not quite what it should.. ;-) thanks bud ..
I have mine on a Jeti DS-14, but I also have pricey high end digital servos from MKS that are fast so that it likely why you see a difference in speed. It's not very important to have high speed on these though so you'll be fine. Enjoy!
This thing looks great and fun to fly. I do not see any one in there right mind in the U.S. paying that kind of money. At that price the least they could do is include Woody.
One of the coolest things I have ever seen....and with LED's for night flying...Spectacular.
Hola, temgo una igual a la tuya con Woody incluido. Tu aun la tienes?. Saludos des Argentina.

See ya at Nall!
Jason.. No need to respond to my question on flying weight. I found your complete review on RCGroups which is very informative.. Thanks...

Awesome. Please can I ask what lighting kit you have on it
I just used a couple of flashlights zip tied to the frame to point up at the paraglider.
May I Ask You Some Questions?, I wanna know what motor used for controling direction. name of motor please

@@rcgvideos thank you so much!!!!
A marvelous and unique RC
That was a lot of fun to watch, thanks for the share

No it's a purpose built RC Paraglider wing. Does not function well as a kite.
You can get parafoil kites to work as Paraglider wings, but it is difficult and doesn't work nearly as well as one designed for paraglider flight.
Wow! That was really cool :D
Creativity at its best!
Super duper cool video :)
Million of thumbs up for you guys!
Thanks for sharing and happy friday
Really cool and awesome flying, what servos and battery pack was used in this setup, getting one of these very soon !

I just used flashlights to light up the wing and a car LED circle headlight around the motor area.

This is crazy insane!! LOVE IT
I like how you lit the wing. I'd like to see real paramotors being lit, like this. Thanks. :)

how did you get the lights attached, is it a torch of sorts?
Just zip tied two flashlights to the frame. Easy peasy.
How to make sir
That would be great if we would meet there for common soaring :-)
What light kit are you using?
Tim T The blue circle behind the motor is an automotive headlight ring. The white lights are all flashlights ziptied to the frame.
