Great job! I tried doing mine but i tried to glue the terminal to the actual wings. Which didn't really go too well. Was worth the try however!

Your car is a newer model, the car at the video is 2007 model so the removal technique may not be the same, trying is at your own risk.
Does anybody know what the tiny removable tab in the center of the vent is for?? Driving me crazy not knowing 😜

It's just an aesthetic. Not sure why they put it there. I am also not sure why the pivot plastic actually has 3 pivot points instead of just the 2. The one in the middle just floats in mid air

Hi what is the size of metal clip..!!plz tell me millimeters..
I used a 4mm inner diameter which did fit. I think a 3mm diameter will also work and might be a bit tighter.

Why not just order whole new unit and pop back in place. Do you know if this is how you remove for Ford econoline

Sometimes replacement parts are expensive. There are cheaper ones, but they usually don't look so good. It is better to repair the original part.
