This is absolutely awesome, you’re the real deal Casey, mixing it with the motorsport elite. Loving the opportunities you’re providing the younger generation at Genius Garage. Long time follower, keep up the great work, looking forward to see you do more professional racing.
Zack Brown must be incredible at his job. Being American and the head of a famous British team in a sport that’s probably 95% Europeans. Hats off to you 👍🏻👍🏻. Looking forward to the next seasons Netflix Drive To Survive.
After watching you and Genius Garage fight for so much its good to see that some of the bigger companies are embracing it finally. I am sure it is still hard but the times might be changing.
Can't believe Casey got an interview Zak Brown. Didn't know how much of a car guy he was. This is pretty cool to kinda get the "behind the scenes" interview. Awesome work Casey!
How does this have less than 6000 views? We just came off the back of one of the best F1 yrs. in history. F1 is exploding and Zac is one of the best out there. Even alot of the specific F1 channels do not have an interview as intimate as this. Great job Casey, can't get more real than this.
Awesome real world interview with an icon of the trade. Great inspirational stuff for the younger generation! Work both smarter and more importantly harder than the competition and good things just seem to ''magicaly' happen. It is a lesson for the ages that should not be lost on tje youth of the world. Thanks for the proverbial invite. I keep loving the vicarious experience you provide.
Great interview! I met you at the race while you were waiting in line to get a coffee in the building and again when you were walking over to do this interview. Excellent job.
I wondered why I didn't see you on the Velocity coverage I could see through Goodwood coverage, car trouble explains it. I didn't get to see Zak race the Lancia or the older F1, but good to see those couple of shots. Absolutely love the fact that Zak managed to buy the original McLaren Condor, I did not realise that it still existed. A real piece of history.
Great interview, Casey! I reckon that Zak Brown has a whole bunch of good advice to give to the next generation. I didn’t really twig the marketing and promotional side of being a racer, or even being involved in racing, until I hung up my leathers and got serious about developing engines for other people. Had I understood sooner I’d probably have been rather more successful in pulling sponsorship onboard. As it was, I didn’t really understand what they might find valuable in the deal, so pretty much failed dismally despite having a good record on the track. I honestly think that a good grounding in understanding the key types of businesses involved in the motorsports arena would be invaluable for your students. Keith Code wrote some interesting bits and pieces on the subject in his various ‘Twist Of The Wrist’ books, certainly on the value for both parties in the deal that is Sponsorship. Yes, definitely more from Zak Brown if possible! Anyway, I hope things are on the up and up for you, you’re doing a great job! 😎👍🍻
Very nice video with some great advice. I had a few minutes with Zak on Saturday and he was thoroughly a nice person who has worked very hard to get where he is.
Casey, I like your videos from the get go! I hope to own a Porsche someday! My Datsun B-210 car got stolen almost 30 years ago, with living in the city. And I haven't had a car since. It is giving me something to dream about, a black 928 with Palomino interior! Thanks!
I didnt understand what he was saying.. The parent company has to buy the advertising in the magazine in order to sponsor the racer, or the racer has to buy it himself? I dont see the value there
Id love to take someone like Mr Brown at his word, but you dont make it to where he is in the corporate world without being a fake douchy person, and thats putting it mildly, in the interest of your channel Casey.
