Appears not a special access room for people with physical challenges. If someone is "wheel chair bound" or even challenged standing, getting into that closet to hang anything up is not possible unless assistance. That "incline" would be challenging for a solo special needs passsenger. Lose wires around bed not great; for special needs or any passenger.Another incline going onto the deck -- these are significant challenges for those using wheel chairs. Thanks for the insights. CTC, MCC, DS; Certified Special Needs Travel Advisor and Advocate or Senior; personal experience traveling with my Mom who needed to use a wheelchair -- on cruises and on land vacations.

Good points. There certainly were challenges to this room. In our 31 years of traveling we haven’t found the “perfect” place. Accessible means so many things because every person has different challenges.
We adjust as needed so that we can travel and have the best, safest experience. We show and review the rooms so people can judge for themselves if it would work for them and their situation. Thanks for your feedback.

Recent accident had me using a wheelchair and noticed challenges I'd not noticed as a "handler" as a "rider". Major brand stores like Walmart have made their "metal" areas sometimes raised making crossing thresholds very challenging; love the signs,, too, that say for their riding carts" indoor use only" Exactly how do you shop and take your items to your car. Some people need a riding cart because they cannot walk the long distances within major space stores and certainly cannot carry or take items to their car but can drive. There are other "major brands" that do not understand functionality and usability and that includes many cruise lines. They follow "acceptable practices" but this is one area they do not employ "special needs" users to provide feedback and practical application of what they build or provide. @@wheelchairadventures8564

As I’ve said before, thank you so much for your detailed information about the different cabins and what goes on in the cruises. It’s a dream of mine to go on a cruise one day and living with a disability I want to make sure that the cruise line that I choose is best suited for me
