I'm a professional auto mechanic (31 years) . I am very impressed with the willingness to learn , the effort put into the repair and maintenance , and outcome . You both should be very proud of yourselves . And as I also have long hair I totally get what Jasmine was saying!!
most definitely, I get so excited to see women bust right through stereotypes.... whenever we put ourselves in a box, we give it a definition, and we limit our self… Our society and our people should never have been put in a box. It's quite literally the same as the ant when you draw a black marker around him in a circle and suddenly he's trapped. Innovation and finding out what your talents are are completely limited because of this. A perfect example of this is toxic ex President George Bush who is still living and found out only after all of his male ego died that he was actually a pretty good painter. Why does someone have to live their whole life before they find out they have talents, after they've broken free of image and the boundary and the definition and a box!!!!!!
Next time you need to change a hydraulic hose, you don’t need to drain the hydraulic oil out of the tractor. Just turn the engine off and move the control levers to relieve any pressure. Then just remove and replace the burst hose.
Haha ... This brought back memories of getting yelled at for disconnecting the battery to do minor tune up. Lost all the radio settings and had to get security code at stealership. Also when I almost drained the coolant just to replace mid hose for cooling system 😅😂
Next time just lay down a cheap plastic tarp to catch any fluids that might spill or leak and then loosen hose fittings on both ends and replace it. Make sure to check the hydraulic fluid level when done.
You girls helped make my day. I had my fourth round of chemo on Wednesday, August 2 and my booster shot on the 3rd. I’ve been in bed since Friday afternoon. Sleeping and only getting up to use the bathroom. This round is kicking my butt. I’m exhausted, weak, can’t be on my feet for long😩😩 All I want to do is sleep. I watched you while I finally ate some food. You two are a marvel to watch. I envy your youth and abilities to do what you set out to do. I’m going to be 76 next Monday and getting breast cancer now was not in my plans for this summer. You are helping me cope. Thank you.
23:42 I cannot wait to see that siding get done! Whewee it's going to be so awesome seeing that progress! Good work on Clementine, I'm glad you two have her to help with the heavy and hard work!
When I worked as a Mechanic I wore full coveralls and a rimless hat to protect your skin/hair and because they are loose fitting add to ease of movement. Less to wash and in the hot weather coveralls are cooler. In the winter they can be also be warmer if you wear clothes underneath. In a pinch visegrips are allright to use as a wrench but it can damage the thing that you are using them on so it is better to use a proper sized wrench. Great job girls!
You two did a great job. Many decades ago, I was an aircraft mechanic and learned like you, Designers never build a machine with ease of maintaining it in mind.
Auto/tractor maintenance tip: Mark the heads of all pushpins, plugs, etc that need to be removed when draining fluids with a hot pink paint pen. Makes it easier to find them next time vehicle needs servicing.
Thank you for being the best part of my week! The two of you have so much love for each other and it really shows in each episode. Can't wait for next weeks already!
I am a bit late, I have been taking photos of a cricket match all day. Yours is the first video I have watched since coming home. I must say you are the best looking mechanics I have ever seen. Having an oil leak turned out to be a good thing, the colour of the old oil made it clear that it needed changing, congratulation on doing a good job and not having any leaks after refilling with new oil. Lots of love from Mike. ❤❤
Van-wives. tip1: when doing mechanical work. 6 point sockets and wrenches are the preferred method of choice for removing and tightening grade 3 and up nuts and bolts. 12 point are used when your short on space when removing the bolts after they have loosened with a 6 point sockets or wrenches. The likelihood of stripping the bolts head decreases with less points. 6 points match the head of the nut or bolt. Tip 2: next time your at Home Depot or Lowe’s pick up a 1 1/4 inch black pipe from the plumbing isle. About 2 ft long. You can use it as an extension on the ratchet or wrench to give you better leverage when breaking a bolt loose or even tightening it. Tip:3 you can put a log under the bucket and push down to lift the tractor and then put jack Stands under the tractor to hold it up while working underneath
389k Subscribers, WOW ! ! ! Your efforts have paid off my friends, You done good. Besides, I just love watching both of you. It's nice to see that you both are completely normal and give each other a great big hug and a little kiss every once in a while. You have certainly endeared yourselves to us, your viewing audience. Stick with it please. you are a breath of fresh air. Always ! ! !
You two...er, four...are such a joy to watch every week. Thank you so much for sharing your journey of discovery with us. And Crystal, I'm 64 years old and have been dragging guitar amps around for fifty of those years and standing and walking on concrete floors for almost as long. So now I wear a back belt every time I pick up a bag of mulch or a guitar amp because I don't want the permanent damage I've done to get any worse. So forgive the nagging, but please take care of your back. We love you, too! Oh! And thanks for the discount on the bottle! That will be perfect for me to take to work since the nearest water fountain is not very convenient to my lab.
It’s so sweet that a feral cat decided to move onto the property - it must mean your homestead is so comfortable and welcoming that even the shyest animals feel safe there!
When replacing hydraulic lines, you don’t drain the hydraulic fluid unless you’re replacing the fluid. The only thing you need to do is ensure there is no line pressure. There will be hydraulic fluid in the lines regardless wether you drain it or not. In the future, you need to find a parts store that can make you hydraulic hoses. Will be less expensive than buying from manufacturers.
I saw an oil spot under my powerwasher today and thought " oh great now I have to take it in for maintenance!" 😢 You have now inspired me to look at it myself! Why not!? Thanks for posting ladies.
Crystal I went through major back surgery in February this year.....NOT from crawling under tractors BUT from sitting! Sitting, especially in a recliner, is the new smoking SOOOOO keep moving🤠❤️. I am walking again with a walker.
You can use the front loader and backhoe to lift the entire tractor off the ground and give your selves more room to work. Blocks under the wheels for safety, of course!
Nice job ladies. It is very frustrating putting the oil in the tractor. I found a pump that fits over the five gallon bucket. The pump has a long hose that will fit into the fill ports. No lifting heavy buckets and waiting for oil to run through funnels. Thanks for another great Sunday.
Crystal, your bird call is extraordinary! It is the "caw" of a million divine souls lifted to ecstatic exaltation... So awe-inspiring. It fills me with wonder...
Great job. Be sure to regularly grease your tractor in addition to changing the fluids in it. Grease is much cheaper to purchase than replacement parts. Don't forget antifreeze. You have a very nice tractor, take care of it so that it will live a long life.
Re: taking care of your back. I'm 53. ~20yrs ago, I fell out the back of a Land Rover crossing the desert from Gao to Dakar in Senegal. We'd hit a heck of a pothole at about 25mph. I was 32, landed in semi-soft sand, laughed it off with a sore shoulder, and thought that was it. On the flight home, my back seized. I spent two days in Paris with docs straightening me out so I could fly home to the States. Over a year of therapy followed just so I could play golf again. You've only one spine. You're young, and you don't feel the injury as much just now. I beg you not to abuse your back while it heals. By the time you're in your 50s, healing takes 3x as long, if you're lucky. Y'all are amazing. Take care, stay healthy, and keep kicking ass.
Crystal..... Pleaseeee trust me when I say, take it easy!!! My x n I had a construction company n me n my stubborn self never took care of my body n now I need back, knee and neck surgery!! I'm in pain daily and I'm only 54 and spend most days in bed!!! Definitely keep doing what you do just don't be like me and think you're invincible and superwoman! I wish so badly I took better care of me and most importantly knew when to stop and take it easy!!! It's all outta love girl!! I know the pain and I know the stubbornness lol but you rock and I am so inspired by you both!!! ✌🏼🧡
As you're working on the lines you should label them or color code them with tape on both ends so the next time you won't have to do as much work tracing them.
They shouldn't have to the manufacturer should do it. It's in their best interest! The easier it is to repair & the better the engineering of the product is, the longer lasting it is. Which means it has a higher second hand value. If you know when you sell the tractor on after you have written it off against tax over 5 years you'll make more money. Then you know that money can be put towards your new unit. So the company who makes it can charge a higher price which gives a higher margin but also they can invest in better engineering & better support. Which why right to repair is no threat to companies that make well engineered, easy to repair products. It's only badly engineered products built cheap to give a big margin that need to stop right to repair, so they can hide their corruption & poor quality of the product and I am looking at you John Deere - you used to be proud of your engineering! Farmers used to be proud of buying good quality US engineering. Probably the same place Boeing has gone! Thankfully under Pat, Intel has woken up & becoming an engineering company again
Careful, when checking hydraulic lines for leaks use sections of cardboard, because the hydraulic oil under pressure in the lines can penetrate your skin. Well done ladies, patience and fresh skills learned, other parts of machine maintenance is where all the grease points are and greasing regular, engine oil changes, and the air cleaner/filter changes. These all keep your tractor in great condition plus making it more enjoyable to operate.
Good Morning! This is great! I really find your content inspiring and empowering! It is so important to have a “Can Do” attitude, especially for young women! Can’t wait to see what the next round of projects brings. Take care of yourselves. Remember life is a marathon, not a sprint!
That is so positive!!! Enjoy Clementine now that you have her back on her feet. Thanks for the safety glasses tip, I always hated it underneath things because of the dirt in me eyes!! Duh,, How is those gardens? 25 yrs ago vesey's started selling a mini tiller called the Mantis. It changes hobby gardening.. Give em a look as they now come in many styles and sizes. If you tilled your beds, you would mix up those layers of ingredients, allowing the roots to grow. Because no roots = no plant growth. I'm sure you seen that pic with the hardwood tree showing it leafless on the top and its roots on the bottom of the pic. As above so below. If you check one of the marigolds and her roots are very small, I'd say you have time to pop em out , give a good till, replant those lil darling and feed them with an organic fertilizer that has a high middle number for root growth. just to make sure the plants are given 'er in the right direction.. 🐞🐞
Kiddos, you should be proud, such a great job. Check your local farm and heavy equipment repair shops. ( If any) Sometimes you'll have a shop nearby that can make hydraulic hoses in a day or even while you wait. Usually make really high quality hoses and often cheaper than original equipment replacements. Thanks for all the work you're putting into the channel. be careful and be safe.
After you use it an hour or so you shoud go back under and make sure everything is tight and not leaking. And recheck you oil level, filling up the hoses and all usually lowers the oil level to a point it would be judicial to top it off again.
All i can say i am very proud of you two with sticking wi it. As you live in the middle of nowhere i personally would get a backup set of filters including fuel, air as well a drum of oil on site just incase you need it. Better been prepared for the worse.
Nice work!! Color-coding the lines is a great idea, since it seems the hoses disappear into channels and reappear in a different order. Zip-ties, tape and paint are all great choices. Please also get flare wrenches for those things. While they should be built 'tractor' tough, using Vise-Grip-type pliers, you run the risk of crushing and end, possibly making it so it'll never seal again. The saying around our house is 'any job worth doing is worth getting new tools for!' is applicable here. I'm sure you guys already use that saying for your house projects! 🙂
Job well done ladies!! I’m also a student of TH-cam University. I have learned so much from TH-cam and watching your videos. Clementine 🍊🍊is a great name for your tractor, especially since she already has a theme song!! Can’t wait for next week!!
I’m so jealous of you being able to get under a tractor and get down to some maintenance. I love shops like this I can spend all day looking . Another tip is to put a blob of paint on key nuts for things, as well as the oil filter. As usual sterling job girls love Sundays because of you two take care ❤
@@jonap5740 you can also do diffent colours for oil ,hydraulics, water etc colour ends of hydraulic lines etc. it’s a way of organising maintenance less faff more efficient. ⚙️🔩🪚🛠️
Great work on Clementine. Just as an aside, the small white cap on the big bucket is a vent. It will allow much smoother pouring of the fluids as it allows air in instead of it having to fight the fluids to get into the bucket. Always keep one on hand because not all buckets come with them.
Something you may or may not already know is that using a “cheater bar” will give you more leverage on hard to loosen bolts. Any hollow metal bar that the ratchet handle will fit into to essentially make the handle longer, is a cheater bar. Love the channel. You ladies are doing an amazing job!
Ossumn video content as always. (Helpful hint). You should always have a routine schedule maintenance program set up for each unit you have. ie lawnmower, pressure washer, chainsaw, tractor and vehicles. Keep a running log. When storing for winter drain the fuel from the units and the water from the pressure washer (water will freeze and damage the pump). You two are amazing to watch and are a great team. 😊👍💪
Get some brightly colored paint, like a paint pen, put the drain bolt back, clean that drain bolt with degreaser of some kind, and paint that drain bolt all around. Maybe even write an arrow next to it with 'oil' so when/if you ever have to deal with this again, you'll be all set! 😍 All the love to you guys and the pups!
You know when that bird got back to the nest will tell the others, "Dude this orange tractor was talking to me, it was awesome" The others will be like, "Did you get into the fermented apples again, Zack?" Zack will reply, "Why doesn't anyone believe me?" This is why I love your channel, randomly interrupted to talk with the wild life. You are awesome.
Transmission fluid & Hydraulic Fluid the same! Yeah, that IS CRAZY. I have the John Deere 1025R & same thing! It drove me nuts trying to figure these fluids out! Luckily I found a youtube channel called 'Tractor Time with Tim' He wasn't clear about it but someone asked in the comments & he confirmed it. I also checked with a mechanic who works for JDeere & repairs commercial sized tractors, combines, harvesters, etc. I feel your pain!!!!
I love your tractor puns! I look forward to Sunday so much to catch up with a few TH-cam families. You two are top on my list for hilarity! Don’t forget to grease the grease joints on your tractor….all those pivot points get a lot of wear and tear!!❤❤❤❤ Love you pack.
Thanks Rob, we are lovin our tractor. Happy we can make you laugh. Thanks for the reminder. We need reminders for sure! Sending love back from the pack.💛🐾
... And make it easier on yourself and get a battery powered grease gun ,, DeWalt makes a pretty good one ....there are many grease fittings on a tractor that need to be serviced frequently ,, don't forget the suspension and driveline on your pickup and ATV also ..
I enjoyed how you referenced TH-cam university and even that one guy was confused. Just like your videos, it is like having a friend along. Your hillbilly silliness was a good contrast to an onerous task. Keep singing!
Great seeing you two working together to do the maintenance/repair on your vehicles. Such great role models for my daughter. Just one thing the box wrench that had the extra points of for tight spaces, but it is more likely to strip the bolt heads since it has a small contact area with the bolt. Much better with a 6 point socket and a flex head ratchet (get one with a longer handle so you can get more force to break bolts loose)
OMG, that is totally my husband and I. We’re always doing our own car repair ourselves while checking TH-cam. Or we’ll take it to the mechanic and pay the inspection fee to see what’s wrong and then fix it ourselves. I don’t have any brothers, so my dad taught me car skills when I was a kid. It’s now coming to use. Lol
Ayy up you 4, when you are filling the Engine and the hydraulic fluid up from the drums there will be a clear plastic plug on the top if you make a hole in this,to let the air in it will stop the oil from gluging out,and will flow out a lot better. 👍
Hanging around my grandfather's workshop while I was growing up, I learned that you could build anything you need if you're prepared to figure it out and learn the skills. You're both doing it without a grandpa handy, just TH-cam, hats off to the determination. But just as a safety measure you might want to chock the wheels of the tractor so it can't roll forward or back when you're under it. 👍
You two ladies are a inspiration to everyone that is watching. There is nothing that the two of you can't do together. You both have such big hearts and are willing to learn anything and everything to keep your acreage going. I'm along with everyone else are very proud of the two of you. So keep smiling, stay safe, take care of yourselves, and God Bless you two and your family's. 😁❤
I loved this episode. First, you show that we women can do more than serve men and children, and your coverage of the job to be done on Clementine was easy to follow as you showed the steps and the difficulties in finding the right parts and areas to be changed. Instructions are seldom fully covered, so hats off to you. So glad your back is better even if not totally back to 100%, but lesson to be learned since it takes less time to heal 100% if you don't push it. So stop pushing it, less pain is not totally healed yet.
You two ladies are unbelievable the skill it takes to do heavy equipment maintenance is usually taught y'all nailed it two thumbs up there is no stopping van wives !!!!!!!
Ahhhh, you got me at a time when I'm literally using an uninsulated water bottle and it's miserable. This summer heat is getting bad. Just bought two 32 oz off amazon, thanks for the discount and I'm glad I could support the channel in some way. Hope you are all doing well.
Here's a tip for pouring stuff out of a 5 gallon bucket. If you turn it so the spout is on the top side instead of the bottom, it won't be gurgling and you can make a smooth even pour. Makes for a cleaner less messy job. Your welcome
Really enjoy your vlogs!!!!! Just one word of advice, though. As a diesel mechanic. When replacing oil filters, only tighten them hand tight, or you'll struggle when it comes to replacing them!!! But like I've said. I love your vlogs and look forward to Sundays now!!!❤
Common sumps for Tractor transmission/ hydraulic system are pretty common. Howerver, you do not need to drain the tractor to change a hose. Just have a couple of drain pans for under where you disconnect the hoses. You want to relieve the pressure in system by moving the controls, with the tractor off.
You girls are AWESOME!! You are an inspiration to all the ladies out there who need to know they can do what is needed! Best wishes from San Antonio, Texas, USA
Great work lovely ladies! Clementine should be proud of you! A few words of advice (please don't take them as criticism or think that I'm being patronising): 1. Please consider investing in the right size spanners for the hydraulic fittings and even better a torque wrench, as mole grips are really NOT the best tool for the job. Torqueing up the fittings to the correct value means they wont leak, come loose and you're not going to risk damaging the seals or the threads. 2. You did a great job on cleanliness, but please be aware the even the smallest amount of dirt or debris in the hydraulic oil can damage the seals on the rams and cause them to leak. This is why most old hydraulic rams ooze oil, are dirty, black, sticky and disgusting. A good rule of thumb, is that if you'd be metaphorically prepared to eat out of (please don't do it literally) any container, funnel or pipe that you're going to put fresh oil into/through, then it's clean enough. Thanks for sharing! Much ❤
Good job on the maintenance on Clementine. It helps to be able to do these jobs and save you money if you had to take it in to a shop. The knowledge is so powerful to have the skill and patience to maintain your equipment and this give you a sense of pride and accomplishment. Go Girls and Clemantine.
Great job on the repair and fluid change! Pro-tip; don't ever use your hands to check for a hydraulic leak because you can get what's called a Injection Injury and they can result in amputation of fingers and even hands. The hydraulic fluid can leak in a narrow high pressure stream that will puncture skin and form a pocket of it inside your body that basically starts killing everything from the inside out.
There is the less than a quart in each hydraulic line. He just put a bucket, hundred catch the little bit of fluid that comes out, put it through a five or 10 coffee filters together and put it back in the tractor. Do have a machine that can pick itself up 2 or 5 feet in the air and let you put blocks it to set on, so you can get to every part of the tractor without having to crawl under it you just keep blocks around when you have an issue you jack it up with the bucket Put a natural position to give ease of access to the w lines put blocks the tractor take the pressure off cylinders as you shut it down by opening up the valves(moving the handles back-and-forth) The fluid will naturally go back into the tank. It’s under pressure. If you have a cylinder that spraying but duct tape around it and tie a towel around it and you can use it long enough to get the tractor it in the air.
I was so thinking that you should have put some paint on the drain so you could find it easily the next time you need to do a fluid change. Perhaps you should do it now that it is fresh in your mind that it is the middle bolt that is the drain? Good work, Ladies! Another lesson learned and repair and maintenance completed. Fun video today, thank you for taking us along.
Great job girls learning on the job to do these easy maintenance jobs on our own and thank goodness for YOU TUBE U. I remember the days all there was where paper manuals. When you pour from a 5gallon pail turn the spout (the pouring end) 180 degrees so it’s on top not the bottom you’ll find it pours easier keep up the good work and learning
I've learned more in doing the fix by figuring/researching than I ever did by having it done for me. Nice to see y'all are doing it this way! Key to independence! Self reliance is freedom.
Good job, doing it yourself is so important as you're less likely to put off maintenance. One way you can check for leaks is to put a clean cardboard under the tractor. Any leaks will show clearly on the cardboard. Another tip, hand tighten filters when you put them on or you risk not being able to take them off.
Nice to have a good maintenance plan for your vehicles. You should do a bolt check after a period of use....typically the harder you use then do a bolt tightening check. Generators, gas chainsaws, etc. should have a maintenance plan as you know. Spark plugs, plug wires.......where you girls live so far from places I'd have a spare parts bin for each vehicle....at least the more common items. And proper toools for each. They'll last longer and treat you better. You probably have already have but "Stabil"fuel additive to keep fuel fresh when you know it will be sitting for a duration of time. How about a coolant flush before the winter months?
Do you have any way to make room underneath the tractor.. UC outriggers to lift the tractor off the ground.. then put jack stands underneath the frame.. drain out the hydraulic fluid the outriggers slowly but the tractor truck cuz you're be no pressure holding the outriggers down.. that should give you some more room underneath .. just remember to put blocks underneath the front wheels to prevent the tractor from rolling..
This was an absolutely incredibly great video! It might be your best for action/mystery/reward. You only mention a mall and don't bore us to death by showing one! The usual shots of stuffing your mouths were tastefully done!
if you notice that little white tab on the lid of that 5-gallon pail open it n make a hole...will pour easyer , i save n used the used oil on my timbers for fencein or buildin shed ,shack, skids etc
Thanks Dale, of course that would be better! Just like apple juice in the can. Big hole and little hole to make it flow better. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. 🌞🐾
PS. Trade insider’s tip. Pouring oil: If you open the second little cap on the can or stab it with a screw driver it lets air into the can while pouring so you have a nice steady streamflow and the oil does not ‘burp’ all over you funnel.
Great job girls! Glad y’all settled on Clementine for the name! It’s perfect! Can’t wait for next week! Y’all got me all excited to see the how the cabin will look with new siding! Hope y’all have a most excellent week! 😊
you could've used your hydraulic oil in a wood stove by dripping it onto the wood or you can make it an oil stove very easy to do and it's all gravity fed and it burns very clean
A little tip when you need a little more Umph to break a bolt loose. Grab a box end wrench and loop the box end on the end of your ratchet. This has the effect of making the handle longer, giving you more torque. You might also use a deepwell socket that will fit over the handle of the ratchet and put an extension or two on it.
Howdy, just a quick tip: If you open the closure on the opposite side of the pouring spout on the jug it will stop the glugging effect while you pour the fluid. It will allow an even flow of air in as you pour the fluid out. Love to watch you learn as you go and tackle all the necessary details of owning machinery
If you don't have another plug to take off, just turn the drum 180° so the hole is now at the top of the lid, no more glugs. You can do that with any container with a non-centred opening.
Great job ladies, you should be so proud of what you have achieved, your tenacity to put your minds to something work as a team and accomplish it is inspiring to others well done great job xx
The first time you girls said, "hydraulic fluid" I would have been calling a mechanic. You two amaze me by what you can do. Crystal, you need to listen to Jazz when it comes to your back. I never listened to my Mom when I was young and I am paying for it now.
I love watching your videos, they bring joy to my heart. Please, Miss Crystal take care of your back. We love you and don’t want to see you down and out.
You both just keep amazing me. You have inspired me to build my tiny adventure home (grand caravan) this past winter and tackle many other projects. Believe in myself, building my confidence little by little. I've been working on being able to show yous my appreciation by joining The Pack over on Patreon 🤗🤗 Finally this evening I've become a member ☺️ so exciting. Wish I could of joined years ago. Much love from Ottawa Ontario 🤗🤗🐾🐾
Crystal, you are just so patient and calm... nothing seems to get you into a tizzy. Such an empowering video to watch - if I had a tractor, I would definitely go out and change the transmission fluid or something. ;)
You ladies are just so damned COOL! I am just so impressed with your willingness to learn and to stretch outside of your comfort zone. SO inspired! Also, Crystal, please take it easy. A back injury isn't like other injuries - even on a good day, it's still delicate. So please, please don't lift Jazmyn just yet? Pretty please? We're all rooting for you and hope to see you do amazing things for years to come... so please take it slow for a couple of months and think of it as an investment. Sending you so much love. 💖
You ladies are awesome and that's the best way to learn to work on cars or machines is just get in and have a go and never get scared to ask for advice as that's how i learnt having a go or asking my dad ect
I'm a professional auto mechanic (31 years) . I am very impressed with the willingness to learn , the effort put into the repair and maintenance , and outcome . You both should be very proud of yourselves . And as I also have long hair I totally get what Jasmine was saying!!
Only thing don't put the new oil filter on with the band wrench!
You are the most outstanding role models for empowering anyone, but especially young girls and women!
Awe thank you for the sweet compliment. We are a happy to have you in our pack. 💛🐾

I COMPLETELY AGREE!!! My Daughter loves them so much. It gave her courage to change the oil in the quad and Jeep. A good mother daughter day thank you
Next time you need to change a hydraulic hose, you don’t need to drain the hydraulic oil out of the tractor. Just turn the engine off and move the control levers to relieve any pressure. Then just remove and replace the burst hose.
I was about to make the same comment but I see you have already done so. Besides, it's already too late.
What he said

Aww you filled up our hearts. Thank you for sharing your kind sweet words. See you next Sunday. 💛🐾
Let's leave the singing to the professionals 😂
Why? We love that song! Join us! 🤣🐾
😂😂😂
❤😂🎉
@tylerandtodd hope yall post today❤🤗💜

Van-wives. tip1: when doing mechanical work.
The two of you are SO strong, SO tenacious, SO accomplished, and SO CUTE! Thanks for sharing your lives. 🐾
That's a great idea when draining the hydraulic fluid.
Nice job ladies. It is very frustrating putting the oil in the tractor. I found a pump that fits over the five gallon bucket. The pump has a long hose that will fit into the fill ports. No lifting heavy buckets and waiting for oil to run through funnels. Thanks for another great Sunday.
There really isn't anything you two cannot do. Hats off ladies.
Aww thank you for your kind words. Happy Sunday.🌞🐾
Sing.
Crystal, your bird call is extraordinary! It is the "caw" of a million divine souls lifted to ecstatic exaltation... So awe-inspiring. It fills me with wonder...
Congratulations on doing your own maintenance on Clementine! A job well done, looking forward to more adventures with you all next week!💛💛
Great job. Be sure to regularly grease your tractor in addition to changing the fluids in it. Grease is much cheaper to purchase than replacement parts. Don't forget antifreeze. You have a very nice tractor, take care of it so that it will live a long life.
You ladies are absolutely awesome!! Your tenacity puts most humans to shame. Great video and job with Clementine
My favorite time of the week, with my favorite girls on TH-cam! I hope you ladies are having a wonderful day!
Aww David how sweet of you to share with us. We love Sundays’s too.
Happy to have you in our pack..🌞🐾
Or use color coded zip tie. I use them on my tractor to track the hydronic lines from the tractor to the bucket.
@@jamesarnold318 Also, make a sheet with color code associated with the part number.
Love that Mary, life is a marathon not a sprint. We all need to enjoy every moment. Happy to have you in our pack. 💛🐾
I watched you two learn and fix your van successfully, so I just knew you could do this. Great job ladies. ☺
When you two were singing my dog started howling!
😂😂
After you use it an hour or so you shoud go back under and make sure everything is tight and not leaking. And recheck you oil level, filling up the hoses and all usually lowers the oil level to a point it would be judicial to top it off again.
Yay!! Happy Sunday girls!! Give bella and izzy huuuuuuuge hugs from the pack ❤
All i can say i am very proud of you two with sticking wi it. As you live in the middle of nowhere i personally would get a backup set of filters including fuel, air as well a drum of oil on site just incase you need it. Better been prepared for the worse.
What a great sunday morning! We had a video from Max and Occy, Tal and Mads and now you guys! Maybe Eamon and Bec later (crossing my fingers).
Aww thank you for your kind words.
So happy to have you in our pack.
Fingers crossed for you. 🌞🐾
And Tyler and Todd
Thank you! TH-cam University is the best! We love Clementine. Thanks for tuning in. 💛🐾
I’m so jealous of you being able to get under a tractor and get down to some maintenance. I love shops like this I can spend all day looking .
Another tip is to put a blob of paint on key nuts for things, as well as the oil filter. As usual sterling job girls love Sundays because of you two take care ❤
That paint idea is a good one!
@@jonap5740 you can also do diffent colours for oil ,hydraulics, water etc colour ends of hydraulic lines etc. it’s a way of organising maintenance less faff more efficient. ⚙️🔩🪚🛠️
You girls are amazing. Thank God for TH-cam. Can't wait to see next week's. Be safe !
TH-cam is the Best! See you next Sunday. 🌞🐾
Great work on Clementine. Just as an aside, the small white cap on the big bucket is a vent. It will allow much smoother pouring of the fluids as it allows air in instead of it having to fight the fluids to get into the bucket. Always keep one on hand because not all buckets come with them.
you guys are the definition of i need no man to repair my things. you kweens!!! always looking forward to your videos'!!
Something you may or may not already know is that using a “cheater bar” will give you more leverage on hard to loosen bolts. Any hollow metal bar that the ratchet handle will fit into to essentially make the handle longer, is a cheater bar. Love the channel. You ladies are doing an amazing job!
❤️Take it easy, Crystal!!! Take breaks!!! 🥰🎶❤️
Jasmine: "She should take it easy on her back" A few hours later...Crystal picks up Jasmine. LOL Crazy kids! ❤
Right! I was just so excited, it happened in the moment. 🌞🐾
There is truly NOTHING you guys cannot do--way to go !!!
Well, Zacks been a drunk since way back. What can you expect...
Good job learning how to take care of Clementine. Paws up!
Don’t forget to grease the grease joints on your tractor….all those pivot points get a lot of wear and tear!!❤❤❤❤
Love you pack.
I've been procrastinating on putting up hand rails on my front steps. You have inspired me to get started. Thank you. ❤
You girls are AWESOME!! You are an inspiration to all the ladies out there who need to know they can do what is needed! Best wishes from San Antonio, Texas, USA
Great work lovely ladies! Clementine should be proud of you! A few words of advice (please don't take them as criticism or think that I'm being patronising):
Congratulations on your successful tractor maintenance and repair!! There are lots of men around that couldn't have done it as well -- or at all.
Yes take care of your back. I hurt mine a long tine ago and still in pain at 71yrs old.
you could've used your hydraulic oil in a wood stove by dripping it onto the wood or you can make it an oil stove very easy to do and it's all gravity fed and it burns very clean
Always amazed at your abilities to learn, adapt and overcome obstacles. Truly an inspiring duo.
Howdy, just a quick tip:
If you open the closure on the opposite side of the pouring spout on the jug it will stop the glugging effect while you pour the fluid.
While filling your oil, if you take off the top white cap, it will help the flow.
The first time you girls said, "hydraulic fluid" I would have been calling a mechanic. You two amaze me by what you can do. Crystal, you need to listen to Jazz when it comes to your back. I never listened to my Mom when I was young and I am paying for it now.
You two are just amazing! You both will take on ANYTHING! Just so fun to watch, even the singing!!! You both are just so happy!
