  • This week Z and I head to the beach in Pacific Grove, California! Let's see what we can find and do. Remember to share with your Cantonese speaking friends and family! 😎☀️

Don't worry if you don't get everything at first. You should watch each video multiple times until you can follow along without the English subtitles and write down any words you are struggling with. Over time, you'll piece everything together the same way you did with your native language. My goal is to build a complete Cantonese immersion course that will get you to the conversational level. So stay tuned for the next video!

These are the kinds of videos you should do more of! There are already plenty of videos teaching basic Cantonese. Videos like this one helps us learn intermediate Cantonese, something that's more rare on TH-cam.

What I love about this compared to other similar Cantonese channels is how well thought out the vocabulary usage is and how consistent the script is as opposed to just being a random vlog

I appreciate all the work you put into this! Coming up with a number of everyday topics, a script that ties it together, speaking at a measured pace, and jyutping/English for us to review the words.

This is some of the most well thought out Cantonese learning videos i have seen so far. The vocabulary is just right for an intermediate level. As an ABC, I can understand fully your dialogue but is slow and methodical enough for me to repeat along. There are definitely familiar as well as new words I would like to try out with my family tomorrow. These sort of day to day internal monologues help to better express what I’m also feeling at the moment.
