It's an amazing country. I just ordained in Ratchaburi for two weeks as a buddhist monk and I've stayed in Bangkok and Chiang Mai for a long time. I can't recommend it enough, but try to stay away from the shitty and overpriced sex tourism areas like Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy. Unless you're into that stuff ofc.
God I miss Thailand. Malls in SEA are crazy, you could spend half a day in there. Icon mall is so cool, you can have a boat ride across the river and when the sun hits Icon during the evening, it's very pretty
