I lived in Breckenridge and Telluride Colorado back in the 70s. Telluride was called Little Switzerland, I remember and we had the Matterhorn on the wall at school. Fell in love with a Swiss girl in San Francisco in the 80s and have been here for 31 years now outside of Zurich. All good, but I do have Colorado in my head if I ever wanted to return. Colorado is in my head the most, after living in New Jersey, Idaho, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maine, Oregon, Washington and California.

Well preserved... I could suggest Marshall, Michigan, which has lots of historic buildings and nothing really modern on Michigan Avenue. Worth the detour off I-69 or I-94.

Not so, Brigham City is quietly and unassumingly unique and visually stunning. Park City is nice, but Midway is nicer.

Too bad the "reformers" cleaned up the debauchery in Deadwood. You see ladies and gentlemen, The USA was once a free country but one must have been alive in the late 19th and/or very early in the 20th century to enjoy those freedoms before they began to end.

Oh, yeah, America was so great when people got shot in the street and the killers got away with it. America was so great when there was wide spread corruption and the evil doers got away with it. Fucking moron.

You forgot to mention Ouray in Colorado, one gem in the heart of this state. Also Sedona in Arizona, home of one of the most pictures taken of a certain rock formation. Read up Dude, you missed many great places. I just gave you two hints as there are many more...........
