@@BengalWithRohit How can an employee force them? Employee can if he has power in the organisation. A govt representative has to show interest. Need to go & ask them to open development center here like Naidu did for Hyderabad & like KTR is doing now.

About 5-6 years ago I read in the Telegraph that the MLA of Rajarhat was the only one who spent 96% of the money alloted to him in development while the avg in WB is 60%, where most go to corruption. The development of NewTown is visible for all to see. While most people just glorify the old days, Debashis Sir is one of the few one's who are actually building a new future for WB.

Great to hear these news. We probashi bongs are awaiting more ops to come back to our land. But request the authorities to focus on getting foreign banks, morgan and chase etc and consulting firms top tier, the big 3 mckinsey and all in a larger scale. They are actually more instrumental in growth. Instead of Wipro and all which are now fading away , more product based IT companies and semiconductor companies should be focussed on, to stay repevant in future

@@sanjoysaha3228 no I think. Because tcs is bigger than infosys. Also they are service based company. We need some indian product based (paytm,phonepe,policybazar , cartrade, lenskart etc) as well as foreign product based companies(like Amazon, Microsoft, oracle, nvidia etc)
@@dwarakaprasadroy1882 foreign multinational companies you mentioned are very good if they come but the Indian startups you mentioned are huge loss making big valuation companies and they are not getting funding anymore so I do not think in future all of them can be operational
@@kunal779 I know they are loss making companies. But we should support them because in the initial stage every company is a small company and they are trying their best. Also they are generating a lot of employment. Also I have profit making companies like zerodha, angle one, zoho , billdesk, razopay , easymytrip etc. Also we wish that we can see more no of profitable startups in the near future.

Newtown should be ready with bengal silicon Valley hub, fintech hub, itc infotech, infosys, wipro development centers and other ongoing residential projects by 2030.. And Salt Lake sector v also is almost occupied.. It sector of kolkata is flourishing like never before... World's top accounting firms are here in kolkata now.. Deloitte, e&y, grant Thornton, pwc, kpmg and others.. So far so good... 👏👏

Currently i am working at UBS , staying in Pune, this is now the biggest bank in Switzerland after acquiring Credit swiss. Hope one day we'll be able to work in this fintech hub with some of these large banks, in our own city...

I have an interview with Debasis Sen Sir next week. I am an investment banker by profession. I started my career at Citigroup and then moved to Morningstar. We need to bring big investment banks like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Citi, BNY Mellon, Barclays. They will only come if there is a strong startup ecosystem like Bangalore. Also they target HNI's and UHNI's clients through their wealth management services. Wealth Management is a booming industry and number of HNI's is expected to increase exponentially in India and Mumbai and Bengaluru have the largest number of HNI's. If we want to attract big investment bank we need to promote entrepreneurship and develop smarter investors. We have world class educational institutions like IIT, IIM, CU, ISI Kolkata and many more. What we lack is the risk taking attitude and hard work.

Wall Street, Silicon Valley etc. are not just assembly of slick buildings but they represent culture and mindset of high qualified and skilled professionals. Bengal had few green shoots in the early 20th century, but now those are being replaced by cesspools of evil mongers. To create something really good it necessary to drain the cesspools first so that lotus can bloom and keep Ma Durga happy.
