Nice discovery, finding that creek. There were some nice bass and I bet some nice trout in the spring and fall too. Not that the one you caught wasn't a nice one too. That would be sweet if there were native brookies in the creek. Always good to see native species flourishing. You mentioned some kind of yellow bird that you saw. I think that might have been a Goldfinch. They are the only yellowish birds I know up here.

Yeah it was a brown. I was a little too excited at the moment thinking it could of been a brookie lol. Once i went over the video clips i knew it was a brown. Still awesome though.
i have been on Longisland 57 years and never saw such a beautiful stream yet . Can you please at least let me know where it is so , I can fish it someday ? I am of the mind that if you reveal a spot, in turn a spot will be revealed to you . As we give so we shall receive . It can only help us if we help others . I tell people about my good spots so, someone will one day tell me about their great spots . It works out better for all of us that way .
