Funny story about the Schwin Air Dyne...in Alliance Nebraska, the jail had one in the exercise yard. One of the prisoners rode it everyday and buildt up his leg strength enough to be able to climb the wall and escape...true story! Paul Harvey reported it and I lived there when it happened!

I love the real old antiques. I am 75 and they are older than. Me. Packed so well and so clean. You have bought treasurers. Take them to an expensive antique auction and you will be able to retire. Wow!

The containers with long chains are called a thiruble. They are for dispensing burning incense. Used by the Tibetans, Orthodox and Catholics, probably others. Love you all xx

The thing I liked best in the video is the fact of the table and the chair for grandma Ventures . The only thing that would make it better is if Ashley was filming and Wade carried the boxes to the table . Maybe you need a 2 tripods , two cameras for two different angles . Boy Ashley would hate editing all that together .

Oh how the sewing box reminded me of all my grandmother’s sewing stuff. She always kept those chocolate boxes for her sewing notions. She kept cake tins or cookie tins with buttons.

The stand with the foot shape is a cobblers last for putting a shoe on that's being repaired or made, my Grandfather had one. I guessed old irons, which surprised me when I was right. My Mum had a gas iron which my Nan said came after the flat irons like you have in the box. Sorry I don't think 1971 is old, but then I was born before that lol. There was so much there I hadn't seen before, and after the way you were like with the goggles I suggest keeping them somewhere the smell wont get to you lol. Some of the picture frames are lovely, so much care was taken when they produced items in the past, there was great pride taken in making things, not like mass produced when the more got out the better! I didn't sleep last night so I shall be settling down shortly, goodnight my friends,God bless you all love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK

The recorder is from 1947. It cost $150.00 back then. It's value now is $1600.00. You can find every part for sale online. Some from a few dollars to some around $50.00 from what I researched. Good job Wade!!

What looks like a shoe is a cobblers last and is used in the repair of shoes. The shoes are placed over the foot and new soles can be hammered in place. The irons: the one that is rounded would have been heated by placing directly on a gas cooker jet, as was the 'carron.'

Cobbler's anvil, irons used in dry cleaning in the 30's and beyond. The toy trucks are dirt/gravel road leveling trucks. The mirror recorder was used in voice training. The wire recorder was used around 1910 and only for a very short time. I would guess the owner collected objects he or his parents couldn't afford in his youth.

The wire recorder sold for $50-$200 + shipping which is $50+ all of them sold as is or for parts. You could put it up for the higher price, if it doesn't sell within a month lower it to $150 and go from there. I'd bet it would sell for the higher price, especially with Christmas around the corner.

The Webster Chicago is a Wire Recorder. Before reel to reel recorders early recording in the mid to late 40s into the 50s was on piano wire. I archive old recording by digitizing the original recordings into a modern format. Usually I remaster and edit recordings and convert them to CD. I have done wire recordings from the 40s for a number of clients. They are usually voice recordings.

You heat them up on wood stoves and some of them hold water. I want the one with corvette or two. I think it might be to check ears and help with speech problems. I love unboxing videos. Very cool teapot. You need a disc. I have one in a wood case with a singer they are beautiful. I think the projector is from the forties, I was born in 51 and my uncle had one. It is for testing eyes. In the Catholic Church when the Priests blesses the people he swings the incense ball and speaks a Latin prayer.

05:40: Alf is brown, I seem to remember.
12:01: If it's from West-Germany, it really is old, from before the two Germany's were reunited.
18:28: It is indeed a cobblers tool. Can't remember the name just now, but they use it for nailing new soles and heels on shoes.
34:58: One of the first portable, or should I say luggable computers! Incredible!
38:50: A very, very old sewing machine, normally there's a little handle at the flywheel that you spin to make it work.
