I don't know how she found a die cut kit, they are currently being produced as laser kits..
As far as any bearing made, go to boca bearings, they list every bearing ever made, including ceramic ball bearings.
Coupla thoughts: I think of the Smoothie as a stunt design. That looks like a pretty fat airfoil for a racer. Ought to manuver well and give good uplines on the vertical maneuvers. Seems as if the aileron servo is half out of the wing in the slipstream. Why not bury the servo completely if you are looking for speed. Also, having the weight of the servo that far out will add to the inertia in roll. Why not put the servo closer to the C/L and use a 90° bellcrank in the wing when it comes time to translate servo movement to aileron movement. Nice build!
Odd that you want it to be fast seeing as you have gigantic wheel pants, external aileron servos, large control horns and a large tail wheel bracket as well as choosing a plane with a very thick wing.
You can force anything to be fast with enough motor though so I don’t doubt you can get triple digits but you’re going to work your equipment pretty hard to get it vs choosing better airframe and components.
I saw the test run of contra props on fB brill stuff
