Honestly, I enjoyed evolution. I know that's a controversial stance to take, but it had some good songs in there. Are you ready of course is by far the best song on that record. A reason to fight made me fucking cry when I saw them in concert and so did hold on to memories. I do agree that its the worst album in their catalog but I did enjoy it so I disagree with it being 100% terrible
Evolution may not be just as great as all the other previous Disturbed albums but regardless it's a fairly decent album that can be easily enjoyed every once in a while.

My Ranking of Disturbed 1. Ten Thousand Fists (2005) Ten Thousand Fists is a badass album, this album is literally killer no filler every good track one after another, it's hard to say what my favorite song is off this album but I have to pick you would either be Ten Thousand Fists, Guarded or Overburdened but damn it's hard to choose there's just so many good songs on this album can't go wrong with this album. 2. Indestructible (2008) This album is like the mob rules to Ten Thousand Fists heaven and hell both albums are just as good but ultimately Ten Thousand Fists is my favorite but this album is my second favorite for a reason, songs like Indestructible, Inside The Fire, Haunted and The Curse are just badass I love the opening to The Curse It just sounds Erie the way it opens and I love the guitar parts and solo to Inside The Fire, what a badass song definitely one of my favorite Disturbed songs and if there's one thing Disturbed is good at it's making the listener feel powerful and strong, they do it again on this album just like Ten Thousand Fists. 3. Asylum (2010) I don't understand why this album gets hate, it's unreasonable this album does not deserve hate especially with an opener like Remnants/Asylum, got to love the guitar solo to Remnants that intro just sets up what you're going to be in for so many good guitar solos on this album, deserves to be top three, I love the nightmarish and scary atmosphere, this album has always gave me a Batman Arkham Asylum vibe. 4. Believe (2002) This used to be my least favorite album but this album has grown on me quite a lot, my favorite songs off of this album are Mistress, Rise and Prayer, I love the sound of this album, I just can't help but love this album a lot this album and my top three Disturbed albums are near gear to my heart, i really love them, I would love to buy my 4 favorite disturbed albums on vinyl. 5. Immortalized (2015) Immortalized is kind of a controversial album by Disturbed it's loved and hated, only hated by the metal elitists but metal elitist have always hated Disturbed but no one likes an elitist and if you don't like this album give it another chance and if you still can't get into it I don't know what to tell you, My favorite songs are the bonus tracks like Legion Of Monsters and Tyrant but if I have to pick just a song off the album with no bonus tracks it would have to be the title track Immortalized, like I said Disturbed is good at making the listener feel powerful and that's why I love this song especially with the opener that gives off that adventurous vibe like you're going on adventure or something but overall I like this album, kind of mainstream but still heavy as fuck. 6. Evolution (2018) I may have this album low but that doesn't mean I don't like it I just like the other albums above it more, I've listen to this album while playing Doom Eternal and I got to say I love this album although I wish it was more heavy sounding but they're trying to make another black album like Metallica, this album is even more mainstream sounding than Immortalized except Immortalized was still heavy, The only heavy track on Evolution is are you ready The other songs have more of a mainstream sound and our ballads which isn't bad but I prefer heavy Disturbed, my favorite track would have to be the bonus track This Venom It just has this '80s horror movie vibe to it and I love it. 7. The Sickness (2000) I know this will offend some people but I still like this album although I do have it low doesn't mean I hate it, I think Disturbed have evolved since this album and made better music since this album, saying this is disturbed's best album is like you're saying that Disturbed have never evolved since their debut but for me Disturbed is a band that gets better over time except maybe for evolution because I like Disturbed to be really heavy sounding instead of the sound they have on evolution.

Dead ass after believe they got to soft like their sound wasn’t that heavy, at least it kinda came back with asylum tho but all they would have to do to make their music heavier is if the snare wasn’t so damn soft and thick sounding 😅 in the first two it was sharpe, loud and crazy after that it was soft.

Don’t like how close to pop they are with most ballads either about romance or sad times. I think doom metal does it better they are slow songs about depressing topics but is way more atmospheric and the singers generally aren’t as whiny

Rock ballads are some of the best songs imo. Ashes of Eden By Breaking Benjamin, Lullaby By Fall Out Boy, Dear Agony By Breaking Benjamin. Rise Above This By Seether. How can you not like rock ballads?

The only albums I truly enjoy from Disturbed is 10000 Fists and Indestructible nowadays. I haven’t listened to the other albums after o admit but... The Sickness... okay I use to love this album to hell and back except for down with the sickness. I listened to it not long ago and it is their most immature and weak album. I do like Voices and The Game but that’s mainly it. Down with the Sickness is the most overplayed song along with Drowning Pool’s “Bodies”. If I can remove any song in the world, Down with the Sickness would be my number 1 song. I utterly hate that song with all of my heart. Believe is better than The Sickness but only by a little bit. Liberate is fun, and Remember is pretty fun as well. Also I’ve seen Disturbed live twice and they were boring. David I think is a lame lyricist. He has a good voice so he has that going for him.

Here's my list from worst to best: 8) Evolution: I hate this album. I just think it's commercial garbage. I was disappointed when it came out and never want to hear a single song from this album ever again. 7) Asylum: Great album but has some weak tracks in my opinion. We got that great opener with Remnants/Asylum followed by the Infection and Warrior which are also awesome. Another Way to Die would have been my least favorite Disturbed song if not for Evolution coming out. It just sounds very bland to me and I hate the lyrics about pollution and crap. Never Again is pretty good and I like the Animal a lot. Crucified is really good too and Serpentine is one of my favorites. My Child, Sacrifice, and Innocence, are all good tracks too but nothing amazing. The cover of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For sounds too similar to the original, it doesn't bring in their sound like their other covers in my opinion. So the reason why this is as low as it is is due to me not liking Another Way to Die, the ISHWILF cover, and just thinking that some of the songs are good but not great. Definitely a good album though. 6) Immortalized: I like this album a lot more than Asylum. Now there are some mediocre songs here too with Open Your Eyes being kinda repetitive to me. Same with What Are You Waiting For. Now what makes this go above Asylum is that there is nothing here that I *HATE*. Like in Asylum I hate Another Way to Die, but here there is nothing horrible. The bonus tracks on this album are also some of my favorites. Tyrant, Legion of Monsters, and Brave and the Bold are awesome. 5) Indestructible: I love everything from here onwards. If someone had this as their #1 I'd understand because this is a pretty perfect album to me. Maybe Inside the Fire and the Night are a bit repetitive, but other than that everything is great here. Perfect Insanity is my favorite on this one. 4) The Lost Children: Now this is more of a compilation album but I'm including it because this is a really good album. A Welcome Burden is probably my favorite one off this album, but everything is great. I like the Midlife Crisis cover and Living After Midnight, but nothing crazy. Just a solid album. I just like the different styles in this because it's the B-sides from all of their previous albums. A pubic hair above Indestructible. 3) Believe: This album has a great opening with Prayer, Liberate, and Awaken as the first three tracks. Then everything else is solid. I love Mistress and Darkness is my guilty pleasure song. Everything on here is great to me so that's why it's here. 2) The Sickness: When I first started listening to Disturbed I loved every album EXCEPT this one. It has more of the nu metal style to it I guess and it took a while. But when I got into it, it was worth it. I love every song on this album. People love to crap on it and I don't get why. They say that it's cringy and crap like that but to me it's not. Just some great catchy heavy stuff on here. Shout 2000 is an awesome cover and it is my favorite of all their covers (yes, better than Land of Confusion although that one is great too). This is probably their heaviest album. If you asked me a few months ago this would have been #1, but I think my #1 right now is the best overall. 1) Ten Thousand Fists: TEN THOUSAND FISTS IN THE AAIRRR! This whole album is perfect. It flows so well. My favorite is probably Sons of Plunder. People love talking about Stricken which is obviously awesome but everything is awesome here. I think it's just the most well-rounded of all their albums and that is why it is #1 on my list. I don't listen to much Disturbed now but that's mostly because I'm trying to find new stuff. Hope you like my list, but if you don't I don't care.

5) Indestructible: I love everything from here onwards. If someone had this as their #1 I'd understand because this is a pretty perfect album to me. Maybe Inside the Fire and the Night are a bit repetitive, but other than that everything is great here. Perfect Insanity is my favorite on this one.
4) The Lost Children: Now this is more of a compilation album but I'm including it because this is a really good album. A Welcome Burden is probably my favorite one off this album, but everything is great. I like the Midlife Crisis cover and Living After Midnight, but nothing crazy. Just a solid album. I just like the different styles in this because it's the B-sides from all of their previous albums. A pubic hair above Indestructible.
3) Believe: This album has a great opening with Prayer, Liberate, and Awaken as the first three tracks. Then everything else is solid. I love Mistress and Darkness is my guilty pleasure song. Everything on here is great to me so that's why it's here.
2) The Sickness: When I first started listening to Disturbed I loved every album EXCEPT this one. It has more of the nu metal style to it I guess and it took a while. But when I got into it, it was worth it. I love every song on this album. People love to crap on it and I don't get why. They say that it's cringy and crap like that but to me it's not. Just some great catchy heavy stuff on here. Shout 2000 is an awesome cover and it is my favorite of all their covers (yes, better than Land of Confusion although that one is great too). This is probably their heaviest album. If you asked me a few months ago this would have been #1, but I think my #1 right now is the best overall.
1) Ten Thousand Fists: TEN THOUSAND FISTS IN THE AAIRRR! This whole album is perfect. It flows so well. My favorite is probably Sons of Plunder. People love talking about Stricken which is obviously awesome but everything is awesome here. I think it's just the most well-rounded of all their albums and that is why it is #1 on my list.
I don't listen to much Disturbed now but that's mostly because I'm trying to find new stuff. Hope you like my list, but if you don't I don't care.
