Apple Pencil2 Latency Vs Samsung S Pen Latency - Which One is Lagging (iPad Vs Tab S8+)
In this video i am doing a latency test for apple pencil2 vs new samsung s pen. The devices i am using are apple ipad pro 11" and samsung galaxy tab s8 plus. I try both apple pencil and s pen on different apps like apple notes, samsung notes, microsoft onenote, sketchbook, bamboo paper and concepts. For most apps both are working fine, only in microsoft one note, there is a gap between line and apple pencil tip. The apple pencil latency is 9ms. The samsung s pen has 2.8ms.

I´m here to confirm the iPad has a really slight but noticeable lag on third party apps (like Goodnotes), just like the S-Pen. Just like on the Tab with Samsung Notes, on the iPad the Notes app is where you see the best performance of the Apple Pencil.

I prefer it slow. For me It's easier to see the difference when it's done slowly. If he goes fast you're not gonna see anything because it's too quick for your eyes to pick up

In terms of S-pen latency, is S8/S8+ better than S7 FE? My usecase is mainly annotating Text book PDF's and note-taking.
In terms of latency how would you rate : S8 vs S7 FE vs S6 lite ?

GSM arena is the only place u can find the differences in It's pen latency I know of,. Ask her your question. The S8 ultra has the lowest latency of any tablet. I've seen yet at 2.6 ms, where has the other Versions of that 8 don't have something like 6.2 but quite a substantial difference.

s7fe has liike 30 ms latency if i recall correct. s8 is 6.2ms and s8+ is 2.8ms. Confirm it yourself though

@@angeldeleon5404 yes. the color should be mid colors so both pens can be seen. only this way you can obviously see the latency, since it depends of the pen contact to the written thing

@Golden2Talon the color of the pen does not affect latency, black pens look better than white pens. Just cause the color isn't what you like doesn't mean it isn't better
