Floating feel can’t avoid for this car. During high speed 120 and above can feel it already. Overall with this price range consider ok.
SUV tend to have less high speed stability compare to lower body car. But I have to agree I feel the car is light during high speed, probably it is due to less composure but not to the extend of very not stable.

Yes both reader and card housing. The reader is mount on the windscreen and the card housing is inside the center console box.

honda civic 2020 tcp and x50 flagship, what's ur thought of these 2?
2 different categories. One is sedan one is SUV. See which one you prefer first. If you are more to driving dynamic the sedan is always is a better choice but if you want practically and want to sit higher due to ergonomics then the X50. Both are equally powerful tho.
Heard there's loud wind noise heard in the cabin at 110kmh and above. True?
And tires are RM600+ to replace. :(
That is true. Wind noise kinda loud on high speed. 215/55/18 trye definitely not going to be a cheap to replace.

I did not have the chance to drive the Honda HRV RS. But I have driven the HRV Hybrid. Not a far comparison but if just from a b segment SUV comparison the X50 win hands down. In terms of power, refinement, features just may he the ride and handling could be very similar.
For X50 flagship, if changed the logo to Honda,Tayota,Mazda,VW,Merce, what should be the selling price?

Definitely noticeable from 100kmh. But most of the car will. I will put the X50 wind noise level from 100kmh to be average among it's competitors.

The flagship comes with aeb, leather, auto parking and everything.. i feel they are usefull BUT only when it is new.. who need auto park? Do you like adaptive cruise control? Not me.. i am a very driver type person
if you don't need all those things then the premium variant is a decent choice tho.
If you have the money to spend of cause the highest spec is the best. Else any of the variant will get the job done for you.
Non flagship you will not get those 177ps/255nm power figure

Power is very subjective matter. Different people have different power expectations. However I felt the car power is good and exceeded my expectations.

I'm looking for a new car. Absolutely Proton. But from your opinion, which one between x70 and x50 is more worth to buy?
Both 🤣. See what you want. If you need bigger space and better specification and don't mind paying more then X70. If you like sportier at the looks as well as sportier to drive and don't mind getting smaller overall space then X50. The marketing is very clear X70 more suitable for family and X50 for younger crowd.

Pretty similar to other crossover 😅. One thing is this is one of the most powerful, well refined and awesomely specs crossover here in Malaysia.

But honestly Proton always not Malaysia product since the era Saga or Wira. Why? Although made in Malaysia but the concept and creativity always ain't own, such as engine was from Mitsubishi at that time until now. Proton just borrow the engine from other company, installed to own car brand.

The ride seems a bit bumpy. Is it because it is a SUV? Or just happen to X50?
SUV will have a bit more travel in between suspensions. So expected a bit bumpy over lower height car. The road condition also quite bumpy for some sections. Btw it still acceptable comfy ride to me

They are in the same segment just one is sedan and one is SUV. If I choose I choose X50 because I got sedan already 🤣. Anyway if same price range I think the X50 still is a better buy unless you want a sedan.

@@leongwengsing1017 Both can do city and highway driving without any issue. Still depends on whether you like higher ride or lower ride. To me if you want a more comfortable ride definitely go for sedan. But practically wise SUV might be better. Oh SUV will have higher maintenance cost also bare in mind.

@@leongwengsing1017 I think the X50 is a slight more quieter. Should be car is more well insulated and usually higher ride car has less road noise.

Wind noise the X50 has its weak point here. Not sure is the design or its SUV behaviour that tend to get more wind noise over normal sedan or hatchback. But besides that the NVH level is far better than VIOS.

No wind noise ? Seems like it
There was wind noise after 80kmh. Well this has been addressed by many other media as a known issue. For short drive it shouldn't cause any issue but in long cruising highway drive might be. Unless you use "user remedy" open your audio louder lol. Hopefully Proton acknowledge this and will fix it.

I tried to capture the footage but none were successful. It seems the auto park assist need a optimal condition for road, space etc. Probably the terrain that I was doing it was not that ideal.

For Flagship variant the Torque is higher 255NM and CRV is 243NM. But CRV has higher HP which is 193.
