The Gellar field already collapsed the moment the ship entered the warp. So except you have extremely high amount of plot armor like Ultrasmurf, the ship will never be found again.
Honestly couldn't figure this game out at all, my fleet is wiped out in seconds every single time and does literally no damage, the enemy seems to always know where I am while I don't know where they are until they are upon me

Ugh. Doesn't do much against the AI. You can say that again. I was trying to use silent running and gas clouds on the convoy escort missions and it does NOTHING.
Sorry for late but I found that the slow field is extremely useful when deal with Eldars, it forced the ship to activated its quick dash and then you can easily approached it from the rear and blasted its engine.

Sometimes I use Silent Mode for my escort ships to fly around and attack from behind ... it works fine for me^^

I don't understand what advantage scouting gives?
I would assume that if you scout a ship that is singled out in the beginning, depending on it's class, maybe you ought to destroy it while it's alone.
How about some tips when it comes to fighting against orks and eldar.
