My only issue i have with my Powerblock is doing chest presses incline or flat. For some reason, my wrist tend to hurt at times maybe due to a balancing issue. I’ll use wraps when doing these movements but the support blocks make it tight in there. Which has me leaning toward the newer Sport line or open handle design.....
I managed to snag a 50# set direct from powerblock for 375 shipped. Didn't quite have the coin for the expansions right now but considering they are going for 6-700 bucks everywhere else for the same set I'm stoked. How much more bulky is the 70# and 90# additions if I may ask?
@@powerbar8991 ... Thanks for the input, I called powerblock and the customer service rep doesn’t recommend that method. I recently received my Powerblock Sport EXP 90lbs. I did test out tricep extensions using two methods. (1) Grab the inner handle with one hand while balancing the exterior with my other hand (2) use both hands to grab the inner handle of one dumbbell. But I realized that tricep extensions gives me aches on my elbow joint.
Who's going to be the first one to correct comment how man times I said "obviously"?
Obviously it was a good video so we don’t have to.
Doing some work at this older guys house today and he just gave me the whole 90lb set with the stand....pretty stoked
Congrats, that's awesome!!
I'm picking a pair of the Elites 5-90lbs today for $500. I think that's a pretty sweet deal. Thanks for a great review.
Yeah especially since they are almost 800 bucks new now
That's a pretty sweet deal, congrats

I have the bowflex 552 selects. I love them, but I think I’m going to get a set of power blocks ! Thanks for demonstrating movements.
Glad you like them!
Congrats on reaching 100 subscribers!
Thank you!! A full gym tour will be next to celebrate!
Which power blocks are these elites? Or sports?
And update ? Are they still good
These dumbbells are great!
Yeah they are! You've got great taste!

It definitely gets tight in there! An open handle would be sweet.
Thats strange. I have the elites and i absolutely dont have that problem
The real question is, can you do lat pulldowns with them 😂
How do you like it? Some people say it has bad quality and it wobbles a lot. What is your experience?
Great review, keep curling
Curls for days!
Good video
Thanks!
Can you use weightlifting hooks with it?
Any concern that the pin may come out while lifting or the weight may come off while lifting?
I’ve never had a problem with it!
The pin has 2 magnets built into the plastic part of the holder to retain itself onto the bar and not just slide out.
Anxiety levels on 100%
With the expansions is that 90 lbs including the 5 lb weight additions or 90 lbs not including the additional weights u add to the handle?
Its 90 lbs total so with the weights. The handle by itself is 5 lbs and the adder weights are 2.5 lbs each.

Nice snag!! They each add 2 more blocks so not too bad.
700? Lol I’ll stick to my dumbbell handles I got from Meijers
I don't blame ya!
Are you able to do heavy loaded pullover or tricep overhead extensions with the powerblocks 90?
You can grab the tubes the adder weights are in to do those excercises. I have a pair and thats what i do

Vintage Hoist FTW
There you go!

Obviously!
Quite possibly the ugliest dumbbells I have ever seen
They're certainly not pretty!
