That's one amazing video to watch. I just love how you framed the lesson here. We can either get consumed by our inner beast or we can become one that's controlled and can be used in a good way.
Thanks a lot, I'm glad you think so! & yes exactly! Most people take this lesson to lighthearted, they agree with the premise but don't actually think they could actually do such horrible things. That's also why I wanted to keep it short but to the point: You either fully accept it & make the best out of it or you let yourself be consumed by it..
The RotS novelization by Matthew Stover shows Anakin's loss of control of the monster he is beautifully, with internal insights that film just can't match. Highly recommend giving it a read for another angle on Episode III.
It is, but acknowledging it & getting help from others, is the only way to successfully deal with it. Don't feel intimidated by it & don't shy away from it either🙏
In Christianity this is the fallen/sinful nature so often talked about. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23. I think CS Lewis puts it so well(I think it was in his book: Mere Christianity but I'm unsure). “No man knows how bad he is till he has tried very hard to be good. A silly idea is current that good people do not know what temptation means. This is an obvious lie. Only those who try to resist temptation know how strong it is. After all, you find out the strength of the German army by fighting against it, not by giving in. You find out the strength of a wind by trying to walk against it, not by lying down. A man who gives in to temptation after five minutes simply does not know what it would have been like an hour later. That is why bad people, in one sense, know very little about badness - they have lived a sheltered life by always giving in. We never find out the strength of the evil impulse inside us until we try to fight it: and Christ, because He was the only man who never yielded to temptation, is also the only man who knows to the full what temptation means - the only complete realist.”

I never read that novelization, but I know that I have that book at home, so I may check it out, thanks for the suggestion 🙏🏽
You have to listen to the ROTS audiobook especially for anakin mindset and also the extra details they give and explanations
It's kinda scary knowing that I have such dark emotions inside me
