I lost my dad last March, and it's been tough. My dad was one of the funniest people on this earth, and had the most analogies about life when I was growing up. As I got older, those funny analogies made perfect sense. 😂😂😂😩

I still get my AAA Map Magazine and I have been a member since going back o the 1980s and still use them. Yes, I remember when the first individual bank debit with no Visa/Mastercard Logo on them either. So, I would always stop at a only a Citicorp Bank back then to get some travel money besides my credit card Visa. Also, in my family it was my Mother who had the funds when she and my Step-Father and my half brother would travel. She would always stop at the old First National Bank of Chicago and then hit the road back in the 1970s to the 1990s. You made me remember some good parents traveling scenes.😊
Finally, it was my Mother how had the actual check book. And she taught me how to balance my check book back in the early 1980s before college.😊 I learned from her!😊❤

You are soo right!! We, as kids back when we are growing up observe things happening around us but I think you start to really understand as you get more mature and older. I traveled a lot even before going to my former airline United Airline. But traveling more abroad to Europe, South America and to Asia was the additional exposure to different people that helped me more. Well, I turn 60 later on this month and I continue to help friends and other colleagues about travel in general with what I have learned. ☺
