In this position the #1 cylinder would have been on compression and only required to turn the crank 360 to put it in overlap and set the timing as described. Then another 360 to do cylinder #4.

What holds the pin in place. When I place my pin in, it looks like it's able to keep sliding toward the engine side. GREAT video!
