I'd go with the 9 Lite and wait for 4GB of RAM to become part of the budget bracket, as right now, 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM is pretty standard as far as budget phones go. The main things most budget phones do lack, is NFC support as well as 4k video streaming and slow motion video capture, which is currently within the mid range bracket of smartphones. If the 9 Lite were to have these features, it would be considered a flagship budget smartphone, but obviously would cost more. Those are some of the main sacrifices made in order to have high end budget smartphones.

I think honor is playing some kind of game with consumers like kirin 659 now is on more than 3 phones but in benchmarks some scores high some low example honor 7x score on antutu 6.0 is 60k something on other hand 9 lite has same chip and ram but antutu score is 30k that's a huge difference Though all phones have same processor software optimization is different but 30 k score on antutu for 9 lite is rubbish, check gogis review

Because china is their home ground and without releasing the Note 5 there, how come they will launch it in India??? I highly suspect it will be Redmi5+. But i want my analysis to go wrong 😃

I have Redmi Note4 and my Brother in law has 9i. 9i output is around 20-25% lower than Note4. But dont know about 7X and 9lite. They should be same as 9i i think.
I'm using 7x & I've tried Sennheiser CX-180 Street II as well as generic earbuds & the clarity is quite amazing, the local music app does an amazing job, I don't even need 3rd party apps like PlayerPro or Poweramp
But I didn't recommend you to buy such an old phone . . .increase your budget a little and go for SAMSUNG A8+ . . .if not you will regret for buying that old s7 . ..it also has an 2 year old processor which is also powerful anyway . .
Honor phones are now better than most Redmi phones sold now. Even Redmi Note 5 can't beat the camera, design and build quality of current Honor phones. Redmi can compete only in price and specifications.
